The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and variety. The room had two chairs which is handy for two people and not always the case. Bed was comfortable.
The renovations meant that the sins were difficult to locate when arriving. However the noise didn't bother us.
Basic clean hotel in a prime location for the town
There were workmen than started banging etc at 7am and there was no chance of sleep..I understand now that the hotel is having work done but should have been informed before we booked
Very helpful administrative staff.
Because I didnt put my friends name on the list on arrival (unsure at that time if she was coming) when we returned from our night out she was not allowed into the hotel and had to find alternative accomadation at 3am staff on door were ignorant and un co-operative !!!
I loved how quiet and dark the rooms were .... There was so much going on with the wedding, you would have thought you were the only person in the hotel. Nice wide corridors as well. Good breakfast selection included in the price.
lift a bit slow
Everything. Cobwebs everywhere. Noisy out. Horrendous experience
Room very clean and comfortable. Great location and very friendly staff.
Shower wasn't very good and toilet flush.
Great location Helpful staff - even when late for breakfast Comfy room, very clean Good value
I was staying for a girls night out so I didn't mind the town centre noise but maybe not ideal for a family.
The hotel was very good , handy for shops pub restaurant etc staff was very friendly and helpful food was good too I had a apartment it's was like home from home I will be recommending this hotel n I would return
The food, especially my evening meal.
Lots of space in the room, fantastic location, good value for money.
Toilets didn't flush too well, two globes in lamps were not working.
Seriously loud noise all thru the night from the residents bar and stagg parties.bang out if order.no wi fi,it's not 1994.wasps everywhere.
Extra for breakfast. Telly not working. Noise from building works.
I loved that this hotel was so central in the city. The staff so very friendly and went out off their way to make us feel very at home. The food was amazing in this hotel.
The car park for me was a problem. We had been overcharged for a day, as the system was not working. We were told by reception to pay at the end of our stay. But everytime we left the carpark for the day we had to pay and on our return get a new ticket as there was no-one in the booth. Also, renovations had been going on in the hotel throughout our stay. We did not know off this until we had arrived. I thought that we should have been notified beforehand, as I had sent an e-mail confirming our stay one week prior to checking into hotel.
Hotel being very central
Did not like the night poter very rude when retuning from a nigh out. Should not be there
The reception staff were lovely and the room were spacious and very clean.
The only problem was that they were refurbishing the hotel and workmen were there from before 7 in the morning.
location and reception staff
Hotel needs updating
Rooms too hot to sleep, very noisy with the window open and wasps kept flying in so we had to close the window.
Location is good, in the centre of Letterkenny
Spacious clean hotel. Good hotel. It is in a good area of letterkenny close to a lot
The church bells woke me at 9am but wasnt bad
Its in a great location in the center of town. It has a flat screen tv and and a bathroom. perfect if your not spending time in the hotel and just need somewhere reasonable price to put your head down after a night out.
Its probably 1 of the worse hotels ive stayed in, without being mean. The toilet flush fell off as soon as i pressed it. Not the cleanest of places. More a 1 or 2*. A lot of work needed. But it seems they are renovating it. But perfect for a night out!
Works dowstairs from 7h30 to 6 p.m. Cold water. Poor insonorisation. Widows closed, we got the smell of the smokers in the pub in front of the hotel. The 2 she-receptionists were cold as ice. First time, I have to pay when check-in. I do not recmmand this hotel.
only one complaint was not informed about the live misic on sunday morning.
The staff were very pleasent but that was the only good point about this place.
The room was disgusting, with mould all over the shower, the smell of urine in the ensuite was repulsive. There was burn marks all over the carpart in the bedroom and beds smelled old and musty. The tv was tiny and old fashioned and all together the room wasn't up to the standard I would expect for £115 per night. And to top it all off we were kept awake all night as on our floor was a selection of stag and hens on ther various parties, and they we running up and down the hall and screaming and shouting, and no one reprimanded them. All in all I would never go back to this hotel and I would actively encourage others to stay away.
