Staff and location
Quality of bedroom and food
location was excellent for the town.
Name was changed but received no notice of this.
There was no hot water in the hotel so we couldn't have a shower
The receptionists, night porter Charlie, the apt I stayed in. They are renovating at the moment and I can't wait to stay there again when it is finished. Live the hotel.
Really enjoyed our stay staff were excellent in everyway
The location is excellent, it is, In the heart of the nightlife, everything is within walking distance shops, restaurants & clubs, the staff are excellent, ensuring ur stay iis very comfortable.
toilets could have been cleaner. basic rooms
Handiness to the shops/restaurants
The dreadful din that continued right up until 4am...finally it stopped.....then the road sweepers started!!! :(
Off site parking One cup and one milk for tea in a twin room ( Very Minor). Gordons Gin in the bar not Gordons Gin in reailty
Noise, Room wasn't clean Sockets loose on wall Faulty door Better off sleeping in car
The location was excellent and the staff are very friendly
The hotel is currently under renovation but we received no notice regarding this and as a result the whole hotel was dusty including the rooms! and drilling started at 7.30am on a Saturday morning. also when looking for the hotel we were advised to park in the car park beside the hotel, but when we checked out and tired to get the ticket validated we were advised the car park was nothing to do with the hotel and we had to pay full price for our stay
Rooms are good
Staff are not very helpful
Staff were friendly and helpful , the hotel is ideally placed for exploring the nightlife . The secure parking down the side street is perfect and well priced . I know from previous stays the food is great
We were disappointed that there was major building works going on to hotel which we weren't made aware of prior to the stay. The rooms were very clean but all the corridors leading to rooms were in bad need of painting and ceiling tiles stained. The price we paid per room was far to dear considering it was a temporary bar and dining room set up. Then at 5.45/6am the road sweeper lorry and manually operated street blowers started cleaning the street below and even with the window closed and us only in bed from 4.30am we were woken and that was the end of the sleep . A room not overlooking the street is recommended .
My hotel room was lovely. Very large room with a comfortable double sized bed etc.. Large TV screen. Spotlessly clean bathroom with an easy to operate shower. The view from the window was wonderful...overlooking the town and countryside. Also had 'electronic card' entry to my room.
There wasn't anything really that I disliked. I hadnt booked to have breakfast, but the Receptionist said breakfast would cost 10Euros per sitting. I thought this was rather expensive..and managed to buy something to eat and drink in a cafe/restaurant a few doors away from the hotel for 3.50Euros.
Location is bang in middle of town
They were renovating which we didn't know and there is no parking. There is no real bar in the hotel at the minute and the room was just ok.The shower didn't really work properly and the toilet took ages to finish its cycle. At that point everything started to annoy me.Just disappointed overall.Hopefully it will get a proper makeover as I stayed before and I enjoyed it
Stayed here in a group of eight girls for a friend's 40th birthday. Location is excellent very central to everything. Manager in this hotel, mark was very helpful and looked after us. We ate in the yellow pepper which was absolutely gorgeous and great value for money, would recommend staying here and we will be back for some more fun!! :)
