Room only had 1 skylight. mould in shower. Overpriced.
Location was right in the heart of the action of the town which was convenient. Breakfasts were scrumptious.
A bit noisy and the washroom was tiny.
Excellent Managers, location and hospitality. Great location.
Rooms look a bit tired but adequate.
Staff was very helpful and chatty. Good Breakfast, Great location, Right on harbour front, Plenty of parking outside or across the road.
I was in Dingle for the Marathon and stayed here for 2 nights. The hosts Maurice and Therese were 2 of the nicest people in Dingle, extremely welcoming and very helpful people. The rooms very comfortable, the shower was fantastic, great power shower. The breakfast was lovely. The location is perfect, a short walk to everywhere.
Very nice and helpful owner. Great breakfast.
Rooms are small but comfy, great spot easy to everything. If you are looking for perfect this is not the place.
Warm and friendly hosts, excellent location right in the heart of things - the first place we stayed at in our travels that we didn't get lost finding! We could hear the town waking up just as we were ready to get up ourselves and enjoy our delicious breakfasts. Loved the red door and the excellent security system.
the shower was tiny, and we had to remember to close the blinds on one of the street side windows or crowds of people could see in (not that there was anything to see!)
Managers were excellent, helpful and very friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. Location fantastic.
Rooms could do with some renovation but perfectly adequate.
Loved the location, the breakfast, the conversation, the accomodations
Everything.....everyone was very friendly and helpful !
Everything. My hosts were the most gracious people I've ever met in many years staying in hotels and guest houses. I really enjoyed Dingle and that experience was in part due to my stay at the Queyside.
Lovely room. Very comfortable bright and airy. Very central location. Breakfast was very tasty and was served up by the owners who were very pleasant and informative about the area.
The location is very central.
I just thought I was getting more for my money. From the pictures it looked better than what you actually get. We had a hard time sleeping the first night, because it was so hot in the room. The weather was changing all the time and showers were frequent and if we opened the windows it would rain in. We removed the duvet to discover it was very stained. Carpets are old ad dingy.
Location is excellent for staggering back from the pub after listening to music late into the night. Breakfast was fine and staff were helpful and charming.
Booked four months early and got 3 bed room when only needed 2 bed. Maybe that accounts for the price of 130 euro for two. Room was small side with neighbours plumbing sounding like uillian pipes. Expected better for the price.
Friendly, helpful receptionist. Good location.
1. Booked with Booking.com hadn't been confirmed by booking.com to B&B so we were very lucky there was 1 room left. 2. Visa card system wasn't working at departure time so we had to drive to another B&B to make payment. Very very inconvenient. Disappointing end to weekend.
There wasn't one positive stay at the quayside
First we had a confirmed e mail to check in on 7.26.14 when we arrived we where told that they had no room for us we showed our e mail confirming they basically said after much dialog that it was not available and wanted to take a photo of the e mail which we let them. THEY TOLD US THAT THEY ARRANGED FOR US TO SPEND 1 NIGHT AT HILLGROVE WHICH WAS ALSO A NIGHT CLUB AND THAT IT WAS GOING TO VERY LOUD. WE HAD NO CHOICE AND CHECKED IN AND WAS TREATED EXCEPTIONALLY GRACIOUS BY SEAN THE MANAGER WHO MADE ARRANGEMENT TO EAT AT THE LORD BAXTER REST SINCE IT WAS LATE AND MOST PLACES STOP SERVING BY 930PM. HE INCLUDED BREAFEAST IN OUR ROOM RATE AND AND WAS TRULY A FANTASTIC PERSON AND VERY SYMPATHETIC TO OUR SITUATION AND WAS EXTREMELY APOLOGETIC FOR THE NIGHT MUSIC THAT WAS GOING TO SINCE IT WAS A DISCO AND HOTEL. IF I HAD NONE THAT THE QUAYSIDE WAS SUCH A LOW GRADE B&B THE HIILGROVE WAS A 5 STAR TO COMPARE. THE ROOM IN THE QUAYSIDE WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS THEY POST ONLINE NO WINDOWS JUST TWO SKYLIGHTS THE VIEW OF THE ROOM IS THE BACK COURT AND ROOFTOPS OF SURROUNDING BUILDINGS AND REFUSE BINS FROM THE BUSINESSES, NO CHAIR IN ROOM NO PLACE TO PUT LUGGAGE ONE CUBBY 3FT BY3 FT WITH 3 HANGERS NO PHONE POOR LIGHTINING THE ROOM DOOR AND BATHROOM DOOR DO NOT CLOSE TIGHTLY SO THE RATTLE WITH I HAD TO INSERT CARDBOARD TO TIGHTEN THE DOOR IN THE JAM FROM RATTLING ALL NIGHT WE WHERE AT THE TOP OF STAIRS AND COULD HEAR PEOPLE COMING AND GOING SPEAKING AND OPENING AND CLOSING DOORS AND BY THE WAY THE GUEST WHERE NOT CONSIDERATE ABOUT OTHER GUESTS AND ALL SLAMMED THERE DOORS RATHER THAN CLOSE THEM GENTLY I WILL BE WAITING FOR A RESPONSE BACK FROM BOOKING .COM. I WILL GIVE YOU A FEW DAYS TO RESPOND MY # 239.560.
managers were very friendly and helpful food was great and everyone at breakfast shared their stories of their trips
Location and owners were courteous and friendly. Code on door avoided messing with keys which was handy! Didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment! Very quiet in mornings!!
Could do with a bit of a face-lift and modernise it a bit! We booked this because hotel prices in Dingle are outrageous!! But felt this was expensive for what we got. Would shop around more in future! Room/ bathroom very cramped, great shower though!!
The Landlady was so nice and made us feel welcome. She was wonderful and not over the top. The location wAs great and the breakfast was good
The room was a bit dated as was the bathroom.
Convenience Free parking Friendly welcome and service Character of bedroom - skylights
Main areas need upgrade as they are a disappointment after arriving at such an attractive and historical exterior
The location and staff were fantastic. We also liked the quaint nature of the B&B and the rooms were a perfect fit for our family (parents and two young children).
As you're in the heart of Dingle, you do hear people leaving the pubs at closing which can be loud.
Great location, nice breakfast, friendly staff highly recommend!!
Great location, close to everything in the town.
WiFi wouldnt connect but as this was only a 1 night stay was only a minor problem.
This was a unique B&B--a former stable. The location is right on the main street of town, so it was close to everything, but a bit noisy with people coming home from pubs and in the early morning.
I'd like reading lights on each side of the bed. Compared to another hotel we stayed in in another town, the value seemed not as good, but part of it may be that Dingle is a touristy town.
