Afternoon tea was excellent and something new on offer.
With a large part of the bar "reserved" for wedding parties after the main wedding day, it was a bit of a struggle to get a table in the bar to dine or drink. Annoying after I had asked was it possible to reserve a table in the bar and was told that it wasn't.
Great big comfortable bed
The spa is brillant
Staff were lovely and meal was delicious.
Pool a little on the chilly side for my liking but spa area still very nice.
Loved this hotel in every way. The location is perfect, set off the road so its very quiet. Staff were fantastic, the food is excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
The only negative that I have is that the spa treatments were just ok and would just use the spa next time rather than booking a massage etc.
From the moment you pull up into the car park everything is amazing
The surroundings and the estate where remote and private
The styling of the room was modern but some of the furniture was worn and chipped - carpet seemed old
Very controllable heating. We don't like overheated rooms especial during the night and it was very easy to turn heating up and down. Beautiful library type room to relax in after dinner.
Didn't really like seeing guests wandering around wearing bathrobes, particularly in reception area,
Everything about this stay was just great! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities were excellent.
The trainee staff were very friendly and helpful
The food was ok it was not great
Delay in room availability due to being very busy
Facilities, room, grounds, atmosphere were all excellent. 3rd time staying here and have always had a great time before.
Food in the bar was very poor, had to send one meal back. We weren't charged for it but still took away from the experience. Second meal was not great and prices are high for the quality. No hot water in the room. Again we love this hotel but we were a little let down this time unfortunately. Could have just been a one off though
Lovely welcome by staff, room was nice and spa/ pool area is lovely. Didn't arrive until late so requested a late check out the next morning to avail of the facilities this request was no trouble. will definitely be going back for another visit.
I really liked the outdoor pool and spa areas. The bedroom have a beautiful view.
The pool area is lovely for just chillin with a book and it's amazing at night
Some of the staff were efficient instead of being friendly. Others were lovely including Conor who was very warm and welcoming
Couldn't fault it really!!
The Food. All dishes that we had were amazing.
The Massage, I booked in for a deep back massage. I had to ask the girl to go harder on my back a few times. She just rubbed it up and down. A waste of money!
The food and atmosphere in the Cellar was lovely
Unfortunately the spa area was overpacked on the Saturday. There was no room in the steam rooms etc so we only went for a quick swim as this was packed too
For a complete getaway from the world there is nowhere better. Love everything about Farnham and can't wait to go back!
I loved the outdoor pool- lovely experience swimming under a full moon. The spa area was perfect-peaceful, tranquil and beautifully designed. Lovely walks around the hotel. Unfortunately we only managed 1 walk as we spent 2 full days in the spa.
Breakfast was lovely but slightly cold both mornings despite food being served from hot plates. Was disappointed that afternoon tea , served in a beautiful dining room, was much too expensive to experience. Found prices of bar food quite expensive but prehaps this is price of food in Ireland Found prices for spa treatments quite high.
prompt and efficent check in. Nice food in bar reasonably priced
room at end of corridor ,had large window and patio door, people out on their walks could see into room, could do with blinds on inside. room cold ,radiators only on at certain times
the surroundings and William the porter who made us feel very welcome.
Car park 500 meters from the hotel which was tired and nothing special, overall not very clean. Booked a superior room, but it fell short, unless they think the addition of a chaise long makes it so.
Food in restaurant was excellent Very spacious room
Pillows very poor
Excellent ou door pool & spa area, massive , clean, warm rooms.
Having to walk from car park to hotel , waiting on shuttle bus.
Everything, food, leisure facilities, bedrooms, staff, walks, all brilliant.
A bit draughty in the lobby area, but the weather was particularly cold last weekend,
