The Wine Goose Cellar Bar: Underneath Farnham House is an array of underground tunnels which served as kitchen and quarters for the Farnham House staff throughourt the centuries. Today, one of these tunnels located underneath the hotel's reception area houses The Wine Goose Cellar Bar where guests and visitors alike can enjoy a drink or two. Daily snacks are served in a relaxed cellar bar atmosphere.
The Cedar Tree Restaurant is located in our Health Spa. In keeping with the hotel restaurant, the food is simple creative cuisine based on the finest irish produce served in a restaurant loacated within The Health Spa and allows Spa guests to dine durning their spa experience in their robes and slippers.
Even thought the Health Spa is an adult only facility, parents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors with their children whether it is on one of our walking trials or for a days biking.

the beautiful surroundings; the pool the hard beds and the fact that on the Sunday in the Chill Out area of the SPA there were a lot of dirty cups sitting around and the fresh water jugs had not been refilled, nor had the kettle. |

It was very relaxing, the spa and outdoor swimming pool was lovely. The bedroom was spacious and modern. I stayed for 1 night but I hope to go back and stay longer the next time. |

Staff worked very hard to provide good service under overworked conditions, but they managed it very well. The overall impression was of quiet efficiency and a desire to be of service. Parking 'rules' were not enforced adequately. Car parks are located remotely from the main hotel in order (presumably) to ensure tranquility within and around the hotel. However, guests were seen in increasing numbers to use areas closer to the hotel to park their cars during their stay. This should be addressed, as the only exceptions should be cars for disabled drivers. |

We stayed over as we were at a wedding. The staff were very courteous from the very beginning. The car parking situation is a bit odd but we got over that. The room was comfortable and spatious. The breakfast was varied. It was especially good for me because I am coeliac and they catered for my needs both at the wedding reception and the breakfast. the car parking |

The Spa was excellent, very relaxing and well laid out with a nice variety of amenities at no extra cost. Having an indoor out door pool is a great idea. In general the hotel has a nice atmosphere in a lovely setting with nice views from the pool and from our room. The hotel has a nice mix of old and modern with the new rooms linked to the old house. |

It was somewhere a bit special...a wonderful place to relax or spend time with a partner...and it was also affordable the fact that the car had to be parked away from the hotel...but the valet services did help.....but still not ideal... |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities eg the spa were very good and the setting for the hotel promoted the relaxibng atmosphere. As a vegetarian I felt I was catered for in the bar food, I did not use the restuarant. |
