I had a fabulous time at this hotel. I loved the friendliness of the staff. As a solo traveler, I loved the layout of the tables in the restaurants which made it easy to meet and chat with other travelers. I loved the proximity to the busses and trains and tour organizations and also the proximity to all of the city amenities. Perfect! I would book again without hesitation. Nothing

The room had a fantastic view of Lough Atalia and it was absolutely breath taking. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious fruits, cereals, breads and pastries and hot food. Couldn't fault it one bit. The bar staff were extremely helpful. We asked for amaretto sours which they don't offer on their cocktail menu however they indulged us and they were the best amaretto sours I have ever tasted. Being told at breakfast that we couldn't take a bottle of water to our room or we would be charged for it. We understood one of the perks of our booking was turndown and out of three nights we stayed, we only got that on one of the evenings.

Leisure facilities were excellent. Wedding on the 2nd night we stayed and noisy guests woke us at 4.30am and continued to hold a party in their room until well after we left at 9.00am.

Ice machine on our floor( the second) was broken and when I rang operator to ask for a bucket of ice to be sent to the room, I was told that there would room service charge or to use on on first floor or go to the bar!!!!!!! Not impressed at all. It was not my fault the machine was broken. Very disappointed in your customer service or should I say lack off it!!!

We liked the fact that the hotel was very close to everything in Galway city. We thought that the Hotel generally was very unfriendly. On arriving we decided to go to the bar area for something to eat and a drink. We were told it opened for food at 3.00 pm. We ordered two bowls of soup which took at least 25 mins to arrive (that was when somebody bothered to bring us a menu!!). We thought the bar/waiting staff were very unfriendly. The next morning we arrived in the dining room for breakfast and were asked if we would mind eating in the bar area as the dining room was full - which was not the case as there were plenty of vacant tables. We said we did mind eating in the bar area and were then seated but then several times we were asked if we were ok and were we enjoying our breakfast. At the price we paid for one night bed and breakfast this was totally unacepptable.

As oer email sent yesterday to Sales & Marketing - room was fine. Breakfast - I.E. cooked breakfast - was an absolute, inedible, heap of junk. Service in the restaurant was practically non existent. I note question 5 below - I would always recommend Galway, I would not however necessarily recommend the RadissonBlu.

We always stay at this hotel when in Galway. The location is very central, the food is great, as are the rooms, the staff, well everything, If you find fault with this hotel, then you are the sort of person who finds fault with anything and everything.

The service, atmosphere, rooms, overall standard of the hotel, was well impressed In minor details, ice cube machine broken on 2nd floor and even though the pool was closed I thought the overall appearance of it didn't match up to the rest of the hotel, however saying that it didn't bother me too much

The bed, pillows and linen were really fab. So comfortable and spotless. Appearance of some of the staff at the desk. The makes especially didn't look smart. They were not very engaging either. The bathroom in the room was a let down. Bath was very small and the shower wasn't very modern.

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. I got excellent value for money through Booking.com Very central and convenient for town. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice On check-in, receptionist passed on so much information about the hotel which we felt was not necessary. It was rehearsed and probably part of her brief to all customers. Also selection of TV channels weren't great ie no sport to watch while the wife was getting ready

The swimming pool was out-of-order however we were notified by telephone before our arrival and also at check-in, with arrangements made to have access to a nearby swimming pool. It meant a potential annoyance was avoided. The waiter in the Atrium Bar took two of our orders incorrectly. That said, these things happen and he was quickly over to personally apologise and the staff were very friendly. Slow to engage with customers though regarding taking additional drinks orders or bringing the bill, especially as it wasn't busy.

Luxurious rooms Having to pay for the car park having paid a lot of money for the room. Although the pool was out of action & we where informed about it in advance, a small deduction in the price could have been given.

Our stay at the Radisson was amazing, we loved everything about it - from the sea view, massive beds, spacious rooms, food, staff and atmosphere. We attended a comedy event in the hotel that was really good fun. The spa facilities are amazing and the staff were very friendly & helpful - I recommend getting a treatment or 2 done! Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of order during our stay which I never knew prior but I guess these things happen - and they did offer a pool at an alternative hotel to use.

Location was very good. Food was nice and bar staff friendly One reception staff in particular was not very helpful. I booked a twin room and went up to a double. When I went down to advise of this the 'reception girl' tried to place the blame on me until I showed her a copy of the booking. She then said ' oh il send someone up to split the bed' no time or apology or anything. After all this is supposed to be a FOUR STAR hotel. The room was of a standard size and there wasnt anything very luxurious about the hotel!
