Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway

Very convenient to train/bus station and town center. Room was quiet.

The communal areas in the hotel are lovely, the staff are wonderful and the breakfast offer was great. Unfortunately, the room was awful!! So so small and drab. The room needed a good dust down and the bathroom needed an overhaul. The shower door didn't close properly and the toilet seat was too small for the toilet! Very strange, I know! It's such a pity as the location us amazing but for the price you pay this hotel was a huge let down! Think I'd look somewhere else the next time I travel to Galway!

Can not fault anything we had a lovely stay. It was our third stay at the radisson. It wont be our last. So thank you frank and geraldine. X

We liked every thing

Room was clean and spacious, good breakfast selection, and not too strict on finishing time of breakfast as there were a few late comers which you would expect on a bank hol wkend

Not really deserving of its 4 stars for the price, more like a 3 star to be honest, we stayed on may bank holiday, and brunch was only average but still pricey, pool facilities not all working, which was a bit of a let down as this was the main reason we chose this hotel and the stairs is hard to find and you have to wait for ages for the lift, Would only recommend this hotel if it was a 3 star with 3 star prices, I have stayed in lots of 4 stars through business and leisure and this definately only deserves a decent 3 stars If you are staying in Galway, check out the Park Hotel first before you book

The staff were excellent and the hotel felt very welcoming and relaxing. My room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was organised and service was good.

Amazing hotel- staff are so friendly, perfect location. Nobody bothers you! Everyone is so polite and thanking- perfect stay!

Very spread out. 3 lifts to get to room with no view.

I always stay here when I'm in Galway. In my opinion it would be difficult to find a better hotel and or in a better location than the Radisson.

I liked that it was like going into a different world. My partner and I decided on the spur of the moment to do something a little crazy. This was crazy for us because we had never stayed in a Radission Hotel before and especially crazy was the price of it cos we are so much in debt. We felt we deserved to give this gift of kindness, love and madness to ourselves. I ask myself now was it madness, it was good for me to realise that in this time of depression there is a world untouched by it or so it felt that way and if only for a night it was very empowering to experience that. However mad coming from us believing that we are not in a financial position to do so, I will remember not the decor but the feeling that will stay, that of joy, fun and feeling I deserve this.

My one difficulty with this trip was that the noise from our room in the middle of the night coming from down at the main door where people waited for taxis and went out for a smoke was disturbing. I awoke to this noise at 4 am and did not return to sleep properly after, there was my comfort gone.

i liked the staff, decor and cleanliness of the hotel.
