While the rooms were very nice the hallways could use some updates and refurbishing - just seemed old and tired.

The bed! It was one of the most comfortable sleeps I had. My partner and I were sad to leave.

In the opinion of my daughter and her husband, it was a very comfortable hotel with a superb view and central position.

We booked this hotel as a honeymoon present. I asked the hotel if they could make it special for them. Yes, they were not disappointed in the room, but I would have hoped they would have been given a bottle of something sparkling at least! We paid over €800 for their B&B stay - what is the cost to the hotel of such a simple gesture?

Swimming pool excellent. For the rest, it is a chain and met usual standards.

I have marked this down to make a point: if hotels want to reduce service on the second night of a stay they should offer a discount. We had to constantly ask to get room properly restocked of products we had used etc, which is a nuisance, wastes time and spoils enjoyment. This happens too often to be just an individual mistake, so we hope managements (not just here) will attend to this.

Got the worst room in the hotel , miles away from reception , two elevators and a five minute walk to reception , disappointed overall

The pillows, duvet and bed were great. Very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. I've never seen such a great selection.

The hotel really needs a bit of TLC and an overhaul - some rooms have been done but others haven't and it's really very shoddy in places eg. lampshades with holes (I have photos), cupboard that didn't open because it banged up against the side table (pic available); bathroom sealant/grouting a bit grubby; reception staff a bit surly; "walk in shower" option hugely disappointing as it's not walk in at all - it's wheel in for disabled guests so both my colleague and I asked to change rooms; my second room was fine but hers wasn't so she asked to move again; huge long walks to get to the room from reception. Apparently no short-cut and twice my swipe key locked me out which was very frustrating.

Modern professionally run hotel with all the comforts. Excellent breakfast buffet with choice of hot foods as well. Convenient location near coaching station for travelers using city link buses and close to city center shops and restarants.

I was charged adult rate for a child.

Location for walking everywhere in town. Very good breakfasts.

Reception for this, quite large, hotel is situated at one side of the complex. This means quite a hike to the rooms furthest away, and the main lifts are situated on the side also. Not much can be done about this I suspect- but perhaps a rethink about the use of the service lifts would help.

I had a medical emergency that was life threatening and needed an ambulance. We contacted reception and a First Aid staff member was with us within a minute. His name was Pat Nolan and he was extremely professional. My complaint was a burst blood vessel which put blood all over the carpet and bed. After I came back from the hospital and we dreaded the mess we we coming back to, but no, the blood was all cleaned up, bed made with new sheets and all our clothes hung up and our personal item put neatly away. What a service and what a crew. Well done.

Staff are brilliant and the pool is great!

I had a fabulous time at this hotel. I loved the friendliness of the staff. As a solo traveler, I loved the layout of the tables in the restaurants which made it easy to meet and chat with other travelers. I loved the proximity to the busses and trains and tour organizations and also the proximity to all of the city amenities. Perfect! I would book again without hesitation.

arrived 1530hrs room not ready Had to wait admittedly not long but at that time you would expect just to go straight up to room

The room had a fantastic view of Lough Atalia and it was absolutely breath taking. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious fruits, cereals, breads and pastries and hot food. Couldn't fault it one bit. The bar staff were extremely helpful. We asked for amaretto sours which they don't offer on their cocktail menu however they indulged us and they were the best amaretto sours I have ever tasted.

Being told at breakfast that we couldn't take a bottle of water to our room or we would be charged for it. We understood one of the perks of our booking was turndown and out of three nights we stayed, we only got that on one of the evenings.
