Been served by Joe in the bar on Friday night he was absolutely brilliant and the food was top class. Thank you Joe
One of the guests is elderly and found it very near impossible to get into the bath to have a shower.
Didnt like the charge for the mandatory swim caps.
The food is excellent
On arrival our room was very cold.
Hotel was excellent. Bed extremely comfortable. We had our 14 month old son with us and travel cot was provided. And requested a quite room. There was a wedding on the sat night and apart from actually seeing the wedding party you wouldn't know there was a wedding on at all. Very quite. Room was great with loads of space even with a travel cot. And I know to most people this does not make a difference but we got mugs for tea/coffee not little cups. I loved that. Staff were great and very friendly. Breakfast was lovely, great choice. Had food both evening and was lovely. Price not too bad. Plus we had room service while baby had nap and was lovely. Tiny bit pricey but was a great selection. Def recommend if a family or couple on their own looking for a lovely break without leaving your hotel room.
Only two complaints and only very minor. One was location. Though it would be more out the country. Was a little disappointed to see it basically in an industrial estate. Having said that once you get into the hotel you aren't aware of this at all. The second is very minor but for breakie the rashers were just about cooked. I really am picking here as the rest was great.huge selection for breakie.
The atmosphere, foyer and entrance. Seats by reception. People seeing
The cocktails were not nice and not worth 7.50!!
Needs more signage outside
The staff were so helpful, polite and friendly! Loved the pool. The restaurant and bar also had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious.
The room was very hot! Although a fan was provided. The double bed was two single beds put together which kept separating while you slept so we would have preferred a standard double bed.
The pool. the staff the food the rooms
Loved the pool and leisure facilities. The bathroom in the rooms are terrific, showers really big. Spotless. Staff very friendly.
Buffet breakfast has great options but hot food wasn't that hot.. Other than that no complaints
Very helpful desk attendant (Polish woman)
Nice Room - Usual Radisson standards
Location a little remote
Traffic trying to get into the hotel was terrible. There was a large group leaving and with cars parked at the side of the road the whole road was blocked. The staff were great in trying to clear it though.
Staff and location Didn't use facilities as it was too short a stay but very pleasant
The free sparkling water filled near reception
Ease of check-in. Location to Cork. Free parking/wifi.
Hotel poorly managed. Got awoken at 4am by fire alarms sporadically in going off 2min intervals but no explanation/announcements to evac. Went to lobby to find 1/2 hotel there with no next steps. Hotel staff wouldn't check us out at first and then just asked if we had paid - no one has followed up on the situation. The room had a smell of stale men's aftershave. 'Double bed' is 2 squeaky twins parked together. Lobby to elevator was sloshing wet, red carpet that smelled of mold (was there a flood)? Very disappointed in a typically enjoyable experience at Radisson Blu hotels.
The staff ordered us a taxi.
Just before we arrived there was some sort of a leakage in the corridor, so a horrible stench was everywhere on the ground floor. This left a very bad first impression. The day we arrived we went for a dinner in the hotel, but the next day we both had a food poisoning from the chicken wings (they serve it with ribs). The food poisoning was followed by the fever, so the next day, instead of enjoying the swimming pool and facilities, we spent the whole day barely alive in bed.
Lovely hotel staff very friendly and helpful had a very enjoyable stay
Staff in reception and restaurant excellent Service in restaurant excellent
Only 2 coffee sachets in the room for 2 nights and 2 tea bags Furniture in bar is cheap and uncomfortable The approach to the hotel is like driving through a scrapyard( the hotel should try and get their neighbours to clean up their act Signposting is not good The web site advertises and shows the rooms of the old manor attached but these are not part of the room availability
The bright room and not a bad view!!!!
Not all staff were friendly:-(pool very small ,.i got my eyebrows waxed but not a good job at all sorry I didnt complain!!!
