Score from 817 reviews Wonderful
food in the bar (2 nights) and the restaurant (1 night) was very good and staff very pleasant and efficient
The facilities were excellent including the spa and pool.
location Food Leisure facilities Friendly staff
A nice place to stay. Easy access to roads network
Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive.
A ball was being held the night we arrived and we had to fight our way through the crowd in the lobby to get to reception desk which was littered with empty glasses. We then had to go behind the reception desk to get to the lifts and our room. Probably a once off occurrence but not the best first impression.
Not a great bar Double bed was uncomfortable Breakfast was very poorly organised, staff seemed run off their feet with little direction to manage basic things like glasses, milk etc
We have stayed here before and were happy with stays previously.
Issue with beds not resolved promptly enough. No follow up after being told that we'd be contacted after stay. Awoken at 3am by Room Service next room.
The changing rooms in the pool were very dirty.
stayed for a wedding in the hotel. It was a lovely setting and a lovely evening
The location. The service. The people.
Being very, very picky but one of the stations in the hydrotherapy pool was on the fritz - no biggie but if it had of been maybe I would have left even more relaxed than I did, if that was possible! LoL
Facilities Pool, spa and bar Room was a great size Bed was very comfortable Staff were pleasant Breakfast was nice Location for the train was good
Main carpets in hallways look worn and a bot stained. Although clean would benefit from a change. My room was excellent but straight over the weights room. The constant boom was too loud and annoying especially when it started early in the morning
great bed, great staff, perfect and felt very safe staying alone
everything was wonderful
Thr buffet breakfast fry was cold and seemed to be cooked well in advance. No warm smoking area for winter months.General areas grubby and unhoovered
Evening meal was so so nothing exciting and lacked real taste Breakfast was poor with sour light milk provided on request not available as standard. The Weetabix were stale and when I reported they were not removed
Excellent breakfast and attentive, friendly staff. They provided everything you could want in the room.
Location. We chose a suite as a treat for our honeymoon, but don't feel the cost was worth it for our room. The lounge was fairly soul-less with odd plug sockets. To make a drink using the kettle, we had to use it on the floor, as there was nowhere else to plug it in! The bedroom has watermarks/stains all round it, which looked like history of a flood/water leak.
Good wifi access and it was included in the room fee. Oh and it had a bed and shower etc.
Coffee on breakfast
Location of the hotel. In the pictures the hotel looks like it is set in woodlands when in fact it is located in an industrial park. Our room looked over at Harvey Norman and several other outlets. Very disappointing.
Staff is very helpful and friendly
Beds is like in 2 stars hotel
14Th of November 2014. Attending a wedding which was excellent. Food and service was very good. Staff very friendly and most helpful. Would go back to hotel for a stay again at a later date.
The only fault on booking the room on line I taught it would be the cheapest but to my dismay having checked my booking on the eve of the wedding everything was okay. The lady said everything was in order and the room would cost 99 euro. On checking in on the day of the wedding the women said my room would be 121 euro which I paid as I booked it on line and that was the price at that time.
easy to find , just off the n25 exit 2 . easy check in , clean and tidy . good wifi and the breakfast was great , loads of choice and very fresh .
the pool could do with a face lift , tiles very grubby looking ,some of the hydrotheraphy parts were not working . the view from the room is a large car park and industrial esate .
Right in between cobh and cork city...10 mins each way. Breakfast was lovely. Room was spacious and room temperature was fine.reception staff were very helpful
Bar floor staff were very slow at talking food orders and not overly helpful for a hotel of this level.
lobby and relaxing area
Loved the room and bed was so comfy.
Wifi free for only one day.
Staff were helpful. Nice hotel, clean, room was lovely and warm, food was good.
10 minutes drive from the city which means you would need a car. But worth the drive.
