Hotel information

The Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa offers luxury accommodations. The Retreat Spa has 9 treatment rooms catering a variety of Elemis product treatments. Advance bookings for the Retreat Spa are strongly recommended; please request during the reservation process. The indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room offer a haven of relaxation. The hotel is conveniently located for events in Cork and has special offers for events that are very popular.

Food & beverage

Individual and set menus are served in the Island Grillroom each evening. Both menus offer a selection of international dishes made with local ingredients.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (excludes Bank Holidays)
Dinner is served from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

The Banks Bar offers traditional bar food from 12:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. each day.

Area information

The Radisson SAS Hotel is located in Little Island on the eastern side of Cork City, conveniently located close to highways N25 and N8. Little Island is on the gateway to East Cork with nearby attractions including Fota Island Wildlife Park, Cork Golf Club, Harbour Point Golf Club, the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, and Cobh. Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills are located about 7.5 miles from the hotel. Mahon Point shopping center is just a short drive away, through the Jack Lynch tunnel. Little Island train station has commuter services from Cork to Cobh and is just a 4 minute walk from the hotel.

Travel information

From Airport:

Follow exit signs for all routes. At Airport Road roundabout take the first exit N27 (signposted Cork). Follow directions for Cork city until the approach of the Kinsale Road Roundabout. At this junction take the N25 East, signposted Rosslare / Waterford. Continue along the N25 East until you exit the Jack Lynch Tunnel (approx 2.5 miles). At the Dunkettle Interchange, take the exit for N25 East for Rosslare / Waterford. Proceed along this road for 0.6 miles and take the exit for Little Island (R623). At the traffic lights, turn right and cross over the flyover. At the roundabout, take the third exit (Eastgate) and the hotel entrance is on the right hand side; just 30 feet from the roundabout.

From Waterford:

Follow signs for Cork N25. Take the second exit at Junction R709 (Travelodge) roundabout. Go through the village of Lemybrien and at the junction for Dungarvan bear right (sign-posted Cork). Go forward at the next roundabout. Take the second exit at both Shandon and The Spring roundabout. At Youghal Road roundabout take the second exit and cross over River Blackwater. At Rincrew Roundabout take the second exit (sign-posted Cork) onto the Youghal bypass. Pass through the towns of Killeagh and Castlemartyr. Take the second exit at roundabout junction with R630. Take the slip road left signposted Little Island. Proceed to next roundabout and take the second exit. The entrance to the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is on the right, just inside East Gate Business Park.

From Limerick City:

Follow the N20 from Limerick City (sign-posted Cork). Go straight through Charleville and Buttevant. Upon reaching Mallow take the second exit at the roundabout (sign-posted Cork). On reaching the outskirts of Cork City pass Blackpool Shopping Centre on the left. Keep left and follow directions for the Ferry/Waterford/Rosslare along the R635 (north Ring Road). Continue along R635 until approaching Tivoli. At the end of the steep hill turn left onto the N8 towards Rosslare/ Waterford/ Dublin. At the Dunkettle roundabout take the second exit towards Rosslare/ Waterford on the N25 East. Use the flyover bridge over the Dunkettle Interchange and continue along N25 East for approx 0.6 miles. Take the slip road to the left signposted for Little Island. At the traffic lights turn right over the flyover bridge. At the roundabout take the third exit for Eastgate Business Park. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is the first entrance on the right immediately after this roundabout.

From Dublin:

Follow signs for Blessington N81. At junction with R110 follow signs for Crumlin. Go forward at traffic signals at Junction 58 (South Ring),“Halfway House” traffic signals and traffic signals at junction with R112. Turn left at traffic signals at the “Fox and Geese”, signposted The South – M50. At Red Cow roundabout – junction with M50 – take second exit N7 (sign-posted The South). Continue forward at Newlands Cross traffic lights. Go straight signposted Limerick/Cork) to join motorway M7. Leave motorway at junction with N8, taking the first exit at roundabout signposted Cork. Follow N8 for Cork until the Dunkettle Interchange. At roundabout take first exit to join N25 (sign-posted Rosslare/Waterford). Continue on this road for approximately 0.6 miles. Take the slip road exit for Little Island. At the top of this slip road turn right at traffic lights over the flyover. Go right over flyover and take the third exit for Eastgate Business Park. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is the first entrance on the right immediately after this roundabout.

From Cork City:

Follow signposts for Dublin/Waterford. At junction with R639 take second exit at roundabout (sign-posted Waterford/ Rosslare). This will lead to the N25 Dual Carriageway (sign-posted Waterford). Take the slip road left for Little Island. At the top of this slip road, turn right at traffic lights over the flyover. Go right over flyover and take the third exit off the roundabout. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is the first entrance on the right immediately after this roundabout.

From Cork Airport:

Follow the exit signs from the airport for all routes. At Airport Road roundabout take the first exit for N27 (sign-posted Cork). At the Kinsale Road roundabout at the bottom of the hill take the fourth exit N25 (sign-posted Douglas, Ferryport). Continue along the N25 to the Jack Lynch Tunnel. On entering tunnel take right hand lane, and upon exiting the tunnel take the third exit at the Dunkettle Interchange for N25 East towards Waterford/ Rosslare. Continue along this road for approx 0.6 miles and take the slip road to the left for Little Island. At the top of this slip road turn right at traffic lights over the flyover. Go right over flyover and take the third exit off the roundabout. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is the first entrance on the right immediately after this roundabout.

Important Information

Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs. Children can use the swimming pool between 09:00 and 17:00 and must be accompanied by an adult. Advance bookings for the Retreat Spa are strongly recommended; please request during the reservation process.
