Radisson BLU Hotel & Spa, Sligo  

The hotel was a good location with a nice welcome. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast times were very weekend friendly.

All staff were very friendly and attentive.

We were very disappointed with our evening meal which we got in the bar. We were waiting about 45 minutes for battered cod and chips and a burger and chips - by the time they arrived the burger was like cardboard and the fish and chips were cold. We sent them back and got replacement meals but at that stage our our appetites were gone. Also tried out the baby pool in the leisure complex but the water was too cold for our eight month old and he screamed from the fright and shock of it.

Everything. The staff is really nice and helpful, the price is also very good, the location magnificent, food tasty... I really enjoyed the stay.

The only thing I was missing was a children corner. A place where kids can play.

The spa experience was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bar food was horrible and the hotel itself is quite old and rundown. Our room was right beside the air conditioning vent so we had humming sound which for me was horrible as I suffer from vertigo and it makes me feel unwell . The bedroom sheets were tatty and our bed was two single beds pushed together with two single mattresses . One mattress being collapsed down .

The room was clean and the hotel is as it was when it opened up. A great Guy in the Bar very friendly and very good at his job.

No entertainment on New Years Eve and also the bar closing down for 30mins

The location is ideal for travelling in west Ireland. The staff are excellent and the service provided first class.

We liked the car parking space, friendly staff and great breakfast. Because it was New Year there probably was not as many staff but linen was in the corridor all day in bags, dust was thick on our luggage shelf and the room was not been cleaned on one day to 6pm. No doubt the food was excellent but over-priced for the bar meals where you would expect it to be cheaper, quantity and quality. I thought 15 euro for fish and 6 chips - literally - and no veg was just a bit much. The efficiency and friendly staff would have me return and, although the hotel was full, it did not seem like it.

A few kilometers from Sligo so a car is essential if you stay at this hotel. The room was very hot so better controll on the heating would have made this hotel better

We stayed for nye and they had no entertainment on whatsoever!! Very disappointed for standard of hotel I would have expected more. Also we booked a business class room but did not have an inroom nespresso coffee machine as stated on website!!

Location, staff, room, large bed, bar food were all good.

TV was not working well, full fat milk with brakfast cerial and breakfast could have been better.
