Room, bed, bar food, thermal suite, comfort and warmth
Waited a long time on food and drinks
I loved the thermal suite was soo relaxing.
I had a very poor massage in the spa. And so did my friend. We had the same treatments but slightly different. So no consistency with treatments.
Good staff, nice location and facilities and that rare gem in a hotel these days - an ice machine!
Beautiful hotel. Clean and friendly, helpful staff. Spa treatments were fab, even our husbands enjoyed them! Food lovely and good choice. Didn't want to leave, would definitely go back!
Breakfast, gym swimming pool, and the cleanliness of the whole place.
Two single bed to make up a double bed. This wasn't the most comfortable bed and should really be a looked at.
Enjoyed the leisure facility especially the Jacuzzi. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were very good.
Air conditioning a bit noisy but just turned it off.
We booked the business class room, was not disappointed, room was masssive, very comfy bed and the views looking onto the sea were fabulous!!!!
The hotel just cannot be faulted.lovely staff, great food.a real pleasure to visit. We will definitely be back.
Friendly staff great spa
Reception staff, Scott, was friendly, warm and accommodating.
Room was not tidy. Loose rubbish on counters. Curtains FILTHY. Couch stained.Bed lumpy. A disgrace. Bar staff cold and unhelpful. Will NEVER go back!
Our little boy loved the pool, the staff were very friendly the food was great.we had a fantastic holiday.
The facilities were good and the rooms were a good size
The staff were unfriendly and almost seemed to be ignoring us at times. Was left waiting to be brought to a seat every time we went for food
Bar food and breakfast really good...
Stayed for my mums 60th birthday..lovely location outside sligo and nearer the beach, lovely bar food, spa amazing
Hotel starting to get abit shabby and used looking. Went to get food in cassiebawn restaurant and staff were ignorant and we wer sat beside a drafty window with no radiator on..we left and went to bar which had a nicer atmosphere (surroundings and staff)
Hotel was nice very posh
We paid €186 for to single beds pushed together on menu in room it said soup and sandwiches servers 24hours wen we asked on Saturday night we were told they were to busy and that was for Monday-friday only didn say that on room menu. We went out Saturday night to get back to hotel and have park very bottom Car park?
The spa was very relaxing and the food in the bar was delicious both for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was great with a large selection. The staff from check in, the spa, the bar and check out were all incredibly friendly.
The bar and restaurant were fantastic and great value for money. The food was beautiful and the earl bird menu in the restaurant was great! The view from the room was of the gorgeous mountains. The breakfast buffet was great and set us up for the day
While the hotel seems to be a family hotel, were were wakened early on both mornings by children running and screaming up and down the corridors - our 'do not disturb' sign was redundant! The location of the hotel is perfect, the area in and around the hotel is so peaceful and quiet, it was just a shame that this happened. Also, the air conditioning in the room is awful. The first night we had it on but the heat in the room was so bad, we didn't get a full nights sleep. The second night was a bit better as we gave up on the air conditioning and slept with the windows wide open. We booked through booking.com and got a very good deal, however none of our requests were met (for a corner room, on a higher floor, champagne glasses to be left in the room). I even contacted the hotel a few days before to ensure they got our requests but i received no reply - not very good customer service, especially when the staff in the hotel were so great. Overall, the hotel is lovely and the bar and restaurant are fantastic, but it is a shame about the air conditioning and the noise in the hotel - we stayed during mid term holidays so it may not be like this all the time, but we won't be rushing back unfortunately
Lovely food - we ate the 3 course value menu on both nights - great value for fab food! Good gym. Friendly staff throughout. Close to lovely walks along the coast.
Bit busy at breakfast on Monday morning - bottleneck getting food, but staff worked really hard to ensure everyone was looked after.
Pleasant friendly staff
Bar and dining room for breakfast were overcrowded lacking capacity for the number of people staying in the hotel.
Huge bed, lovely room, fantastic breakfast, quiet and peaceful at night.
Staff were really good in bar and on check in..
Area around window in room was showing signs of dampness
Easy relaxed atmosphere
Restaurant service very poor, we required a portion of chips after the main course arrived but very difficult to get anyone's attention
Late checkout so that we could use the leisure facilities before leaving.
