The hotel is well located on the Ennis Road outside Limerick, and it was very quiet for a Thursday night. The room was large, and bed comfortable. Room service was good also, and the free wi fi was an unexpected bonus, The room had a business facility to it with a full size desk and office swivel chair, but the bed could have slept a whole family! Room temperature pleasant, no gurgling pipes either, The hairdryer went off after 30 seconds, came back one or twoce and then expired, with overheating (15 sec) being the possible culprit.

Decor of hotel was very nice. Reception staff were helpful. Atmosphere was not very friendly. No personal touch. Apart from the reception staff and the bar staff where we had tea and scones, there was no interaction with any other staff. Not homely in any way. No relaxing music in background. At breakfast there was no atmosphere. There were only two other customers there, both reading rewspapers, no hotel staff to be seen, help yourself apart from one waitress who brought tea. A nice hotel in a good location but needs people who can communicate with the customers. Would recommend the hotel if this aspect was improved.

The hotel was well located for Bunratty Castle and Limerick. The pool and spa facilities were good. I had a lovely relaxing facial and the kids enjoyed the pool and internet suite. The bedrooms were well equipped with the softest sheets and plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. The hotel lobby was spacious and a lovely place to relax with a wine whilst the kids had a play. We had a meal in the bar one night, the menu choice was minimal and the food well below average for a four star hotel

The room was nice and comfortable. The restaurant services were the worst of any Radisson we have stayed in. Hotel was reasonably busy yet the food services seemed overwhelmed. Lunch -arrived 45 minutes later, couple beside us walked out. Dinner - at 8 told the restaurant booked out , yet could see it was half empty. Twenty minutes later still half empty. Tried room service then , except the only vegetarian options on the menu were chicken liver parfait and seafood and veg chowder !! These are in no way vegetarian.Back down to the restaurant after nine and got a table as restaurant was nearly empty. Informed one vegetarian dish available only , a curry. We enquired about maybe having some pasta and tomato sauce instead as this was available on the menu with a meat dish. Told "no", and staff weren't prepared to help in any way so had a starter and left. The couple beside us were at this stage enquiring of the kitchen had they forgotten their meal as it was taking so long. Low standard.

I liked the privacy of the hotel and the space. The rooms are huge. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. I liked everything about this hotel but would prefer if it was in a town or city. I didn't like the location...

Meals 9 1 Dinner & 2 Breakfasts were excellent. All staff polite and helpfull. Lower prices in bar might entice better patronage! Spouse expressed some reservations regarding draughts due to open plan on ground floor.

Went for a 2 day spa break with a friend picked hotel because of location however was very pleased with experience and would go back. Spa was lovely and the staff were exceptionally nice friendly and explained everything to us. The only thing is that it is outside the city and was very quite however it was February and midweek. Entertainment at the weekend would be a good idea. Dinner was included in our package and was lovely with a great choice however the a la carte menu seemed overpriced.

Staff where very friendly and food was nice. I had a double room but the bed was not a double it was two single beds pushed together so that left it not to comfortable also the pipes for heating ran along the wall and kept banging during the night when heat came on/off. I would recommend it to others but I would make sure they check that the above would'nt happen to them.

We stayed overnight as we were going to rugby match. I think there ahold be a special offer for a rugby weekend , maybe dinner included in the price or the shuttle to the pitch. I also got asmell of cigarette smoke in room. Other than that very pleases and staff very attentive. Thank you.

We were upgraded to a suite as no rooms were available, the suite was very spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities, I liked the outdoor hot tub, the breakfast service was fantastic, the hotel is situated on a beautiful location and the view from our room was very scenic and picturesque. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Staff were accommodating in respect of our requests during our stay. We booked in late (C.10pm) and we were kept waiting before we could be checked in - we were quite tired from travelling and we were disappointed at the reception we received. We had asked for a cot to be provided for an 18-month old and we had to ring reception to get one; they were out of cots but did travel to another hotel to obtain one but this still entailed a 40-minute or so delay. We were very disappointed at the restrictions of the Spa for children as we were effectively denied use of the spa on our last morning as we had not been told that kids had to use the facilities before 11am, even though the pool was empty when we arrived there at 12 midday. This definitely tarnished our experience.

The breakfast or lack of it. There was no food when we arrived, they brought out things in bits and pices it was cold. Poor selection of food. No one asked did we want tea or coffee when we did ask we had to wait about 10 mins before we got served. Don't get up for breakfast it was a waste of time.

I feel that at 129 euro for a room for one night with no breakfast was a bit expensive when other hotels where charging 79-89 euro might shop around in future

“The customer service from the decated staff. The food was excellent at night and the breakfest was first class. Shirley is well worth her salery, give her a raise !!! The bed didn't feel as though we were the 1000 couple to sleep in it. The over all cleanliness was great. The Polish receptionest was almost 'Irish' in her welcome and warmth. We will stay again , please God.” John, Westport |
