The staff were very helpful. we had very early start on Sunday morning well before breakfast time and the night staff laid on an excellent continental breakfast for us. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and clean. It does not do individual evening meals, only tour groups, but staff booked us into the Keane's pub and restaurant about 50 metres from hotel and we had excellent evening meals there. We were travelling on motorcycles and there was secure free underground parking with plenty of space for us. Our business was in Galway and we chose this because it was removed from the city a little - travel into and out of Galway was very busy but manageable and we had allowed for this anyway. One of our guys reported noise from a nightclub on early Sunday morning but we were really not disturbed.

The staff was very good and had a room earlier for us because of the baby The hotel does not serve any food unless you are in a tour bus.so if you are there on work lesiure on your own .it is not ideal.the wireless internet did not work in the room and the showers never got hot it just stayed luke warm .these to me would be 3 main points of a hotel for which I think they failed badly as I was also staying there for work and I needed to use all of these.i cant understand how it can call its self a hotel when it dont supply its customer a dinner menu.it should be called more of a lodging if anything else

Room was large and very comfortable. shower was incredible and breakfast buffet was really good. Price was competitive too for midweek and free parking outside. not much to dislike, a few niggly/pedantic things though: in the hotel guide provided in the room it stipulates free internet- when we enquired at reception we were told it cost €5 per day. this was through the tv which is incredibly awkward and slow to use.The cable provided for wired internet access didnt work.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly, she was also quite busy but still remained friendly. The room was fine, telly had a good number of channels and the picture quality was good. Free wi-fi without having to get a password and quite speedy as well. The lobby and bar area were not very homely, it was not a place that you would look forward to going back to at night for a night cap. Hard plastic furniture with no character. Would only recommed this hotel for people not expecting luxury.

The Receptionist on our arrival, Irish woman, couldn't have been nicer. I didn't like the cheap click-laminate on the bedroom floors, nor the rock hard temporary bed I had to sleep on in the twin room, after being told there were three beds in the room. Worse than all that was the attitude problem of waitress Jessica on Thurs. morning. We stood for ten minutes on arrival into dining room & were ignored by her. When asked for something, a grunt was the best she could manage, no smile, no polite reply to anything. It was bad enough getting an inedible, cold breakfast without having to put up with her bad manners as well. An absolute disgrace in this day & age when we should be doing all in our power to welcome & encourage guests.

The proximity to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. The hotel was really short-staffed and the ambiance was not nice. The bartender occasionally had to help out with the reception desk. Also, the area surrounding the hotel needed some TLC as it looked quite run-down and dilapidated. The parking lot seemed a bit dodgy and unsafe. The balcony on the 2nd floor (which we were on) was water-logged and had moss and algae floating about. We went to Ramada for the reputation but were disappointed in the end.

Very central for Oranmore but a bit far from Galway city if you are depending on taxi's could be costly. Casino was advertised but was closed, it is essentially a motel as there were scarce bar & Restaurant facilities.

I stayed at the Ramada Encore last weekend... I found the hotel room to be very spacious, quiet and comfortable... it was great value for money... i found the receptionist on the night i checked in to be particularly courteous and helpful...would definately stay again... I would reccommend that the housekeeping knock on rom doors before they try to enter... they wanted to enter very early in the morning.. and i was still sleeping at 8.30 after a very long travel the day before ....

The hotel was clean, pleasant, with modern-looking room. Very expensive the night we stayed there, though all hotels were the week of the galway races and it was the cheapest of the ones we could find. Breakfast was good. Location wise - a little bit of a trip from the city centre if you are looking for a night out in the city - taxi cost approx 20euro back from town. Seemed to be some lovely pubs and restaurants around oranmore on the same street as the hotel. The prices the week of the galway races!! It was the cheapest of most of them though.

“Todo muy bien: Lo mejor los dueños de la casa que han estado muy atentos en todo momento para que estuvieramos comodos, la habitación amplia, luminosa y comoda, y los desayunos a la carta. Esta cerca de Galway, a unos 11 km, y en el mismo pueblo tienes pubs donde cenar bien y tomar unas cañas. Es un buen puento de partida para ir a visitar Connemara y los Moher. ” Susana, Logroño |
