The beds were very comfortable and hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very poor and unhealthy. The only bread served was white sliced bread. I requested some brown bread from the kitchen but there wasn't any. Breakfast finished up at 11am on sun morning but by 10.20 most of the food was gone and it wasn't fully replenished. There was no fruit provided and no muesli. Vegetarians not catered for at all. One of the staff knocked briefly on our door and walked into our room before it was time to check out. This was very invasive. |

Clean, "no-frills" hotel No lighting in sections of the underground car park - had to walk through a dark car park to find the entrance to the lifts. Door locked and reception unattended when returning to the hotel late at night - had to enter the hotel by the above mentioned dark car park! |

Perfect location for what we wanted were going on to wedding in sligo. Very badly signposted; did not see any directions for it from where we came in. |

Friendly staff, efficent service, good location. Room numbering system was not well sign posted. I was staying in 311 which is not sign posted from the lift. I have stayed here before and noticed poor signage was an issue. |

unusual that the floors have no carpets, but you get used to it and it works, bath rooms large wtih wet room style shower. the bar in the evening was run buy the guy who was also the reception. had to wait a while for service, breakfast a tad confuseing |

Very comfortable, modern & bright. A little impersonal but we stayed only one night and it would be impossible to judge on such a short stay My son came to pick us up on Saturday night with a friend from Belgium. He was refused a drink at the bar. Our Belgium friend could not understand this at all. In a recession you would imagine a hotel needs all the business it can get -however small. |

The Kathim (Karlos) and his excellent cooking and presence, Mirnes and Thomas for their friendly table service and Tibor who was always available if in difficulty. Trust in the occupancy of the room and the noise when dining on one occasion. The card left in the room advising that any damages must be paid for prevents honourable guests from volunteering information on matters concerning equipment since previous guests may well have damaged & not reported it. Better you invite guests to leave list of snags requiring maintenance,ie, key locks needing oiled Noise when a crowd of Jewish people gathered in reception and appeared to undertake a very noisy religious ceremony which made it difficult to converse over the dining table. (Perhaps in the future the hotel should insist that they book a conference room with sound proofing for such an event so as not to disturb other guests. |

Not a lot to be honest, the porter on arrival was friendly but didnt even offer us a change of room the second night. The receptionist was friendly also when we checked out and gave us a E20 refund but this was no use as we's had the smell of smoke all weekend. The fact that on arrival we were told the hotel was full and we were given a smoking room even though we had a confirmed non-smoking room. We were not even offered an alternative for our second night. The mornings were hell, both days buses were filling up with people and the bus and people were very noisey and we had no sleep from 6ish when people started slamming doors. The breakfast was frugal also as there were no meats left and the toaster was turned off before 11am when breakfast was supposed to end! |

Size of room, caring staff on front line but completely ignored by what we presumed were management staff Lifts were out of action for a short time which was worrying as I cannot manage stairs. Hotel was a bit soulless, meals were quite expensive and no fruit other than grapefruit at breakfast. |

Great rooms ! affordable rates ! very close to Galway downtown through coast road. A nice stop for a nice sleep ! Breakfast area is so-so could be a litlle bit noisy by the morning ! |

the hotel was quite central to what i needed and finding the room was quite easy with good signage and the room numbers all very visible the television channels that were available were limited and the reception poor |

pleasant, relaxing lounge/dining area, and the excellent cuisine. We were unable to get fruit juice for breakfast one morning, as the management had under-stocked and a bus load of french tourists had finished the lot! We were told that we could buy juice at the bar!!! |

Good comfortable room, helpful staff. no signposts to get to;hole in sheet;no shower cap or conditioner in bathroom; breakfast was total shambles - no jug, no cups,coffee,tea, saucers, glasses, juice, fruit, wholemeal bread, rolls or croissants at various times, burnt toast. Had to get up at least 8 times to get stuff or ask - not a peaceful or relaxing experience but very frustrating and annoying start to the day. |

The hotel was well located,clean and comfortable The door from the underground parking to the hotel was chained which I didnt think was good as it was a fire exit.Frsh tea and coffee wouldve been better than the canisters for breakfast. |

The room was quite pleasant. Breakfast was exceptionally good: abundant and varied with great choice. YES. the design of the reception, lounge-bar, restaurant eating area lacks any suggestion of 'atmosphere'. We went from England to an Irish hotel and did not meet one Irish person, staff or guests. |
