The staff were friendly.

I requested a bath..no bath stopper.we were hungry & bar food finished at 8pm so we had to get taxi into Carlow.while I was waiting to order a drink another 2 couples who wanted food left also and 1 family with a young child who also did not want to eat in the dining room went back to their room..

Stayed for 3 nights if you want a quiet relaxing holiday this hotel is ideal for that. We had bar food on 1 night it was very tasty well worth a try.

Ease of access to motorway, competitive price, relaxing ambience, pleasant helpful staff and generally good value for money.

The road visibility when leaving the hotel was a little blind.

Should not be a four star hotel ive stayed in much nicer three star hotels

The self catering lodges were perfect for our mixed age family. The location was good, bar was welcoming and the swimming pool was great. The staff were excellent.

The hotel advertised a playground which was closed for the duration of our stay. Tis was very disappointing as it was one of the main factors in booking the hotel as we wanted to keep the children occupied. The website also advertised wifi which wasa not available in the self catering lodges.

Value for money, comfort, friendly staff and lovely food.

Place is getting tired. Needs to be maintained better. Window in our room fixed in partially open/partially closed state. Breakfast adequate but unexciting

the location was nice and quiet away from hustle and bustle of city the staff were very friendly and accomodating and were quikc to resolve any problems which i had. The room was large and i liked the balcony out of the room which let you go outside and get fresh air without having to leave the room

there was no wifi available in the rooms which is not great if you need internet access only form was cable in the room which didnt work at first and i had to be moved to another room which i didnt mind once i was up and running all was fine and i really enjoyed the stay. Also the hotel itself is getting a bit dated and could do with being updated but was clean and kept maintained

Only small comment to make, when we arrived back from our night out we had to wait ~10 minutes until the night porter came to let us in the front door, now it was the wee hours of the morning and he aplogised and was very courteous but might be an idea to install a system whereby you swipe your room card to gain entry to the hotel once the doors are locked. Other than that really enjoyed stay

nice hotel, good price, beautiful golf course, big comfy room with lovely bathroom and balcony for just €59!

gym facilities were very poor.

The smell in reception and the stains on carpet in the room we unacceptable.

The views were good.

Food wasn't of 4 star quality. We ate bar food in the evening and it was average for a hotel. Breakfast was serving out of date yogurts for children.

The lodges were spacious and comfortable and clean.

There were a number of facilities that didnt work such as heating , dishwasher or emersion for hot water and as we were extremely busy all weekend attending a local feile we didnt ask for these to be looked at however you expect these basics to be working also a number of lamps and lights too. There was no welcome pack such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, dishcloths or teatowels also no corkscrew opener or tin opener which are all basic enough items .

Das Hotel ist herruntergewirtschaftet! Unser Eindruck war, das schon seit Jahren keine Instandhaltungs - und Renovierungsarbeiten durchgeführt wurden! Diese Hotel werden wir keinem empfehlen und sollte vorerst auch nicht mehr angeboten werden!

The room is very spacious and comfortable the surroundings of the hotel are very expansive and beautiful.

The only thing was that the steam room wasn't working during our stay.

We had a double room with connecting door to another room, no sound proofing between the two rooms.. very noisy...

The building is in need of maintence and the room had signs of dam on the wall.
