Very helpful hotel staff. Hotel has a lovley foyer and a verycomfortable bar, where nothing was too much trouble
The bed was average!!! That's all
Comfortable bed, clean room. Quiet at night for sleeping and good heating in the room. Food very good and staff friendly.
Shortage of staff at breakfast, had to wait to be seated as no one at greeting desk. Tea / coffee slow to arrive and had to wait to be re-filled on coffee. This was due to not enough staff to attend tables when it was busy. Would prefer coffee pot left on table.
The food at breakfast could have been hotter. It was always cold when we say down to eat it.Other than that,it was great :)
We attended a family wedding here, and from the moment we arrived found the service excellent. The meal was fabulous, and the staff ever so efficient. The room was spacious, with a really comfortable bed. Would recommend anybody looking at wedding venues to consider this hotel.

Our stay was too short !!
Attitude of a male member of staff others were ok
The staff were helpfull and I love the view of the golf course breakfast was very good My sister and myself found it very handy for going to the races and visiting family and we may come back
Dessert not good on sunday night and we could not sleep on sunday night with the tumping noise that went on all night till 8.30the following morning and I think we should get a free night stay for what we put up with. Idid not feel well all day with a pain in my head
Price was good
Poor wifi coverage in our room A little run down looking
Friendly reception staff, spacious room, comfortable bed. Very nice location in green countryside. I don't know if I would recommend it to others. Maybe I hit a bad time. They might not be as picky as I and could find it ok on their stay. I didn 't use the leisure facilities or golf course.
Slow service on Mon and Tues night at dinner in bar, horrible smell of stale cooking in foyer in mornings on way to breakfast, food on breakfast buffet drying out under heat lamps one morning I got a nice pot of decaf tea on 2nd morning not, it was hot water and separate teabags. In Ireland!!! where we drink a lot of tea!! Overall a disappointing experience, not a 4* one.
Quiet able to get some sleep
