The hotel itself seesm very nice and is in a great location. My room was freezing, insufficient heating and bed clothes in the room. A gale force wind blew through the closed window. On request reception did deliver an additional Dimplex heater but that had to be switched off before I fell asleep so I woke up freezing again. Slept very badly and left Killarney with a rotten cough and cold as a result. I mentioned it to the reception on leaving but so far have no heard anything from the hotel, not so much as an apology. |

Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The hotel is ideally located for town & Muckross. Having a child, the swimming pool was great. The room was extremely quiet & beds comfortable. The rate we received was excellent value for money. Breakfast was nice. The room & bathroom were spotless. The only draw back is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities. Always nice to have a cup of coffee to wake you up. |

Easy check-in. Nice tabel service at breakfast. Nice and quick and simple. They didnt have Jack Daniel and Southern Comfort in the Residents Bar!! |

The hotel was very homely with excellent welcoming receptionist at the front desk and also at the leisure centre.The paintings were a joy to behold and there was great space in the bedrooms with the grand sized king bed.Breakfast was silver service and thankfully there was waiter service!!We will be back very soon |

Dirty rooms, in need of refurbushing. Noise in the rooms from outside (air conditioning machinery from the outside or from the kitchen).The hotel does not deserve even two (2) stars although it is advertised as 4 star-hotel.We asked 3 times for room change and the staff did much difficulties to meet our needs. However, every next room was worse then the one before. all in all our holiday was dissapointing. Breakfast was not good and the room price was very high given the poor quality. We would never recommend the hotel to our friends or anybody. |

Location was excellent and the staff was friendly. The breakfast wasnt very nice, the view from our room was of a car park and some trees. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. There was also a dog being kept in the room across the hall which was barking at night! |

The staff were very friendly but we didn't like the fact that during the day you need to go next door to eat. A kettle in our room would have been very nice. Even the local B & B's have tea making facilities! |

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely old world atmosphere without being too stuffy. Rooms are quite large and very well furnished. Beds are super king size and quite comfy as well. Definitely one of the nicer hotels we've been in. Not really - we would have appreciated basic tea / coffee making facilities in the room but that's minor and certainly wouldn't put us off returning there. |
