Room Staff Food Facilities
Would highly recommend to families
If you are not familiar with the area this hotels is on one of the worst roundabouts I have ever been on , you can see the hotel okay but you cant seem to get on the right road to get to it. Could do with some better sign posting.
Great location close to the luas. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent & so was breakfast. Staff in the bar & restaurant v friendly.
Room was clean and comfortable. Free car parking.
Windows need replacing. Restaurant menu over priced. Walking down to red cow tavern was poorly lit so felt a bit dodgy on my own.
For a City Hotel, Most Friendly especially Girls at Reception Sinead and Sharon, most helpful and no hassle, easy going. Thanks Ill be back
Tram system helpfulness of staff handy bar/eatery nearby
Nothing much within walking distance of hotel Wedding party talking loudly at 04.30 in morning - Maybe a good idea to put wedding party's on the same floor away from other people
An events too loud music was turned down when I told Reception that it was pounding thru my window. Reception was helpful with a map and directions for a Dublin location.
Poor food service in the bar. Meal brought and server never returned. I had to step up to the bar for my check.
Dinner in the Winter Garden Restaurant from 6-7.30pm excellent value for money and the food was fantastic. Room was very big and comfortable.
Restaurant had no lactose free options.
Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms with better than expected decor and facilities.
Was not good valve for money it cost me €198 for two nights wth my daughter wth no breakfast not impressed at all would b in no hurry back
Hotel room was nice and cosy, friendly staff
Hotel bar itself was a bit dead, red cow inn just down from hotel much livelier, hotel was a bit noisy and I could snoring from the next room, when we checked out was charged 4€ for a bottle of water that was left on the table that I assumed to be complementary, such a nice touch when the room was 330 for three nights without breakfast...........
Spacious rooms; pleasant dining room staff; plenty of parking available; access to Luas is less than 10 min walk away from the hotel which goes straight to Abbey Street (central Dublin).
The air conditioning was too warm which made sleeping uncomfortable - room regulator didn't seem to be working. We opened the window but then had to close it because of the highway noise.
Everything is cheap and very good.
Location Food options proximity to tram
Car route in or out of car park
The food in the steak house was very good and the band Le Freak played there later on & they were really good. Only 5 min walk from the Luas stop.
difficult to access hotel from main road
Great location for a Trade Show which is what we used it for. However, it is also quite easy to get into central Dublin from the hotel - a train stops right outside. Overall it was the staff that made the difference - extremely friendly and helpful - and the food in restaurant/bar was very good too.
rooms very modern, good quality furniture, restaurant excellent, we ate in the bar and it was divine, breakfast very good also.
pillows were too hard for my liking but then I have an issue with my neck
In 1971 when I first visited Dublin the Red Cow was just a small country pub! Nowadays the area boasts a very welcoming hotel, pub, nightclub and many other facilities, convenient for the city centre and surrounding areas! Staying at the Red Cow makes visiting our Dublin family so much easier and enjoyable!!
