This is a lovely guesthouse with the friendly people working there and the rooms are comfortable, clean and stylish The Irish breakfast is really good! It's very close to the town centre either walking or taking the bus (the bus stop is just nearby) The staff is very helpful and this hotel would make you feel the Irish touch of home and the atmosphere.

I liked the off street parking, important in a busy city where parking is so expensive. The room was an economy single room right at the top of the house which was very comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely shower and everything super clean. I thought the owner, Mick was very helpful and kind. He let me make a phone call to the uk and refused to charge me extra and also gave me an excellent rate for the room. Breakfast was also very good and I was impressed by the choice and what was on offer, all served with a twinkle in Mick's eye! Excellent place to stay, only about 10-15min walk into the town centre and very clean and comfortable. Well done Mick and family! I can't find any fault with this place - free wifi, great room, good breakfast...... All good for an excellent price in my opinion.

B & b was well placed - genuinely only 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. Breakfast was good once served (although space constraints and limited staff numbers made this a slow experience). On the basis of "cost versus proximity to centre" this was a good value b&b but do not expect luxury! Breakfast area cramped for number of guests and sevearl aspects of guest rooms felt "tired".

The owners are nice and friendly. And the breakfast is very good. The first night we did not get the family room we've asked for and had to sleep in a far too small room. The second night we got our family room, but the hot water fell out, and so we could not shower. The wireless internet did not work either.

The hosts were wonderful folks. The B&B is a 140 year old building that has been well cared for and renovated and the dining area is very charming. Breakfast was great and included in the price. The location is away from the city centre but only a 10 minute walk or so from it and seems to be in a safe area. Parking is cramped and it's virtually impossible to get out without backing onto the street (no big deal if you have help or if traffic isn't too heavy). There is no lift so the further up your room is, the more stairs you have to climb.

Convenient location with parking. Reasonable price. Reasonably sized bedroom. Let us check in early and made us a pot of tea. Offered choice of 2 ground floor rooms but both extremely dark and dingy with minute washbasins. Not enough tables for breakfast - people waiting until 10am. Rather uncommunicative host - water was cut off in morning, presumably not his fault but he made no effort to explain to people, although he did knock a little off the bill without being asked.

This is an amazing b&b, and probably the best I ever stayed in!!! The location is great, 5 minutes walk to Cork City Centre, 2 minutes walk to University College Cork, 1 minutes walk to Fitzgerald Park... It is really convenient for anyone to visit Cork city. Greatp place! Receptionists and manager are very nice and helpfull, they alway give the best advices on my tour. And the traditional Irish breakfast taste great! And free WiFi!!! Overall, I was very impressed with this B&B.

central location, yet it was in a quiet street in town, and the staff was very helpful. Will stay there again. Great B&B, everything was great, nothing we disliked at all here.

Good location for Sunday's Well, walking distance to town centre, decent breakfast, clean beds. Fair price. Poor communication / service on the 1st afternoon. The gentleman who did our check-in was half asleep, he seemed a bit put out at having to get up to help us, then put us in the wrong room (occupied!) at first and once that was sorted he shuffled off & didn't tell us when breakfast or check out was. Breakfast had finished when we came down in the morning but the lady working in the morning was very nice and did us some eggs on toast. There was no information in reception or the rooms about check out times etc and no one to ask.

The b&b had parking which was great. Location was good. Breakfast was good. The owner was helpful and gave use good direction for places we wnted to go. The directions given were not very good, we had to stop and get help. A taxi driver actually had us follow him to the place. The room was small and the tv only had 3 channels. Seemed old.

Great location if you're heading to UCC. I arrived late and left early but the B&B was Ok. Could do with some redecoration and a remote control for the TV but overall I have no complaints.

The location was fine for town, steady walk to/from the pubs. Acceptable wifi (free). Bathroom was a bit small, but shower was nice and warm. Wouldn't want to spend a week there, but for an occasional overnight, was perfect.

The family running the guesthouse were very friendly and attentive. The guesthouse is situated near a side-gate into UCC, making the college very accessible. Slight mildew problem in the bathroom, and two of the wall sockets were in very poor condition, preventing them from being used safely.

There was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The Staff were very co- operative and good humoured. The house was quiet and restful offering guests a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fresh and generous and special diet was catered for. Redclyffe Guesthouse caters for all age groups and seems to attract pleasant people. The house was generally very clean and aromas of fresh cooking wafted from the kitchen! I liked the over all atmosphere and would stay there again.
