I liked the off street parking, important in a busy city where parking is so expensive. The room was an economy single room right at the top of the house which was very comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely shower and everything super clean. I thought the owner, Mick was very helpful and kind. He let me make a phone call to the uk and refused to charge me extra and also gave me an excellent rate for the room. Breakfast was also very good and I was impressed by the choice and what was on offer, all served with a twinkle in Mick's eye! Excellent place to stay, only about 10-15min walk into the town centre and very clean and comfortable. Well done Mick and family! I can't find any fault with this place - free wifi, great room, good breakfast...... All good for an excellent price in my opinion.

B & b was well placed - genuinely only 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. Breakfast was good once served (although space constraints and limited staff numbers made this a slow experience). On the basis of "cost versus proximity to centre" this was a good value b&b but do not expect luxury! Breakfast area cramped for number of guests and sevearl aspects of guest rooms felt "tired".

Friendly staff, good breakfast, large room. Easy walking distance to downtown area. No light bulb in bedside lamp. Shaky and low TV stand. Overhead fluorescent lighting.

The friendliness and most kind people. So accommodating! I really didn't know what to expect but the whole stay was just perfect for what me and my sister were looking for. We were given room 15 which was literally the penthouse suite because it was the last room on the top floor. Everything was clean and just as we needed. Thank you Redclyffe for making our stay in Cork so enjoyable! Christina & Jeanne-Marie Gilchrist The parking!

Those people who like home coziness, warm friendly atmosphere and breakfasts in domestic surroundings will like this guesthouse very much. The innkeeper has a wonderful family and together they will help you to feel yourselves like home in Cork. The guesthouse is situated not far from the center of the city – about 20 minutes on foot, but there are also buses. The building is majestic, it seems to be a decoration to a film. Inside there are neatness and cleanliness everywhere. You will enjoy staying in Redclyffe Bed & Breakfast Guesthouse!!!!

Very friendly people. The breakfast was amazing. Good value for your money. The location is a little out of the city center but we liked that. We had a rental car so it wasn't a big deal. We liked our stay.

Pleasant homely atmosphere. Most interested to ensure stay was a comforable as possible. Very good value for money. Excelent breakfast served daily Had a small concerned that if car park was near full it could have been difficult to access the few remaining spaces.

The location was good, close to ucc and the city center. The cleanliness and overall state of the Redclyffe leaves much to be desired. There was mold growing on the walls of the bathroom and a hole in the bathroom floor. The table cloths in the dining room were dirty as well.

Friendly staff, helpful with questions we had, happy to send us in the right direction. Comfortable and spacious room, good facilities for price paid, we thought. Breakfast was excellent :-) Woken a bit by other toilets flushing - think pipes went by our room, but not much they can do about that! Only difficulty at all really was that Western Rd is not well signposted, and we had some confusion as it continued straight off another city road - until we asked a local we would have no chance of finding it!

Well-organised, straightforward check-in and friendly welcome without intruding. Breakfasts adequate - standard cooked fare or cereals / fruit. Location good for those on foot - 10 minute walk to centre by main road or riverside path. Buses also pass by. Decor a little basic, but all the essentials were there.

The family that owned the Guest house was very nice, and the breakfast is very good. There were a few choices, and if asked, they could accommodate changes to the menu. Not in the city center, but very close, and there is a bus stop a short walk down the street. The only issues we has was that the hot water ran out very fast. The owner said it was because the circuit breaker had tripped, and would take a few minutes to heat the water back up.
