The owners were great, and very accomodating and helpful. The location was also great. It is close enough to walk and see the sights, UCC is across the street in front, and a fabulous park behind it. Downtown is just a 15-20 minute stroll, and we did it with 2 young children with ease. If the weather isn't cooperating, the bus stop is right in front, making it very easy to get around. Breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, the location convenient, and the staff was freindly. We had a wonderful stay, and would stay again in a heartbeat. |

I thought the location of the guest-house was superb - far-enough out of the city but still within 20 minutes walking distance of city-centre. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and made my stay an enjoyable one. I would thoroughly recommend this for working professionals passing through the Cork city as part of their travel. The breakfast in the morning also served me in good staead for the rest of the day - good wholesome Irish cooking. |

Host was genuine and helpful in every way. A good Irish spirit. . . breakfast was plentiful and conenient. Noisey, in part because of location near hostel and busy street. |

I found Redclyffe very central an ideal location for shopping, cinema, operahouse.. The staff were wonderful so friendly and approachable and most helpful. Room was beautiful and breakfast very tasty even though we were late coming down it may no difference to the staff and I have found it other places if we were late down we would be told breakfast has finished but not in Redclyfe they accommodated us no problem. |

The location is good, an easy walk into town. When we did not like our room they did move us. The move was done without hesitation but the room we moved to wasn't all that much better but did have heat. The room was fairly clean but the overall facility was not particularly so. The kitchen door was open all the time so the place had a strong smell of old cooking and grease. The beds were not particularly comfortable. |

The warm family feel of the house made staying at the Redclyffe much more enjoyable rather than staying at a large corporate chain. |

The people who run the hotel are at the top of the list of why this hotel has now become one of my favorites in Cork. They are lovely, kind, attentive and informative. No question went unanswered nor was any request denied. Super yummy selection of breakfast made to your specifications, lovely rooms, all around great place! That I couldn't stay longer! :-( |

Enjoyed their breakfast. The hotel should have air exhauster, to suck the air out from kitchen, so that keep the whole hotel air quality better, without oily smell in the hotel room. |
