Convenient, quiet, good food, well decorated and bedrooms equipped well. Staff were not overly friendly initially but once engaged warmed up somewhat. We had got so used to Irish charm we were a little suprised that they were not friendly initially. Generally it was an ok sstay but not amazing. Our bathroom smelt of drains and although I requested the desk staff to have this looked into the smell remained throughout our stay |

The room was very comfortable - the bed was the most sleep-inducing I have ever slept in. The attitude of the staff (from Reception to cleaners) was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Of the four Irish hotels we stayed at this month, the Riverside was defintely the best. Having to leave! |

Hotel was excellent, staff efficient and very good. Really liked everything about this hotel, room was excellent, facilities were great, would definitely come back again. Only one small thing, the kettle for tea making took forever to boil.! |

Comfortable clean room. Bar food was excellent. Breakfast. I do not eat fried breakfast and I found other choices limited enough. It would not put me off staying here again. |

The bedroom furniture was a nice change from the usual plain modern style in most hotels. The evening meal was served in top end of the bar - I presume because it was mid-week and not busy. It was like being penned in a corner. We dined out the next night. |

Conveniently located to the town of Killarney with shops, pubs, restaurants, churches, and the lovely Muckross House and Gardens. We stayed four nights, and the linens were not changed till we asked them to change it on the third day!! The restaurant could also do with a change in the menu. |

I thought the Hotel was really lovely and hotel staff were very professional and friendly. Food i received as room service was lovely and hot and very tastey. On the Saturday morning i received room service which included full irish and coffee but i never received the orange juice and toast. Also i thought it was a bit expensive as i was staying on my own and a single room would have been fine but there was no single rooms available, however it was good value if two people had been staying. |

The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough for us in general. Although the hotel was of a good standard, I couldn't see what the 4 star classification is based on. |

hotel staff were very friendly and great location as it was just a ten minute walk to the town centre when we recived the breakdown for the two night stay we realised that the breakfast for the two days were 69euro for 2 people. The breakfast was adequate but is any breakfast worth 17.25 per person? maybe if it included champagne i would pay that price!! without the breakfast the two night stay in this 4 star hotel was only 129euro. I would recommend trying to get it on a room only basis. |
