Killarney Riverside Hotel  

I did enjoy the friendliness of the staff and how all staff members smiled and asked about your day and your visit. Its refreshing to know that that is still a part of the hospitality Industry. Thank you.

We just found that as a business guest, serving breakfast from 8am onwards was a bit late, especially when you are attending a early morning conference.

The staff was nice and helpful. We booked just our room just minutes before walking in but didn't have to wait for them to receive the confirmation- they checked us in immediately. It was nice being on the edge of the city- just a couple euro for a cab ride or 15 minute walk in to Killarney and easy to start our drive around the Ring of Kerry without having to navigate thru the town traffic and tourists.

Rooms were clean. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Booked a midweek getaway based on what looked to be large rooms and elegantly appointed bathrooms on the website. The room was tiny and the room and bathroom bore little resemblance to the photos. Breakfast was good but there was a vast difference in portion size the second morning (much smaller) and it was obvious the potatoes from our dinner the night before had been recycled. Dinner was not 4 star standard. Very disappointed and will not return. Booked onto the Brehon down the road for the third night. The Brehon is very nice, with large beautiful rooms and bathrooms exactly as described.

Location was great. It was right next to the inec and city centre. Hotel was nice and quiet

1. The service in the bistro was very poor, although the staff were nice, there was only one person on duty and we were waiting along time to both order and for the food. 2. I booked a twin room on the ground floor but did not get this, we got a double room on the ground floor so we were moved to the second floor but that room was also a double so we had to be moved a second time to the third floor to the last remaining twin room. my mother who was traveling with me is elderly and had to walk up and down three flights of stairs(she cannot use the lift). 3. The hairdryer broke and the shower was difficult to work.

A beautiful hotel great parking great staff and the food was of a high standard we had a very enjoyable stay.

The receptionist Siobhan immediately gave a great impression. She's a wonderful asset to the the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was terrific.

We were given an amazing room which we were very lucky and it made our trip! But breakfast let it down as it wasn't great!
