It was a lovely hotel and the staff were lovely especially in the pool they were really helpful. I would definitely come back

I booked a family room but it was just a double room with a cot bed put in, we were fine but it was a bit tight I thought we would have more space

The atmosphere was great - the food was excellent - the pool was enjoyable - I would definitely recommend it and if we come to Ireland again we will be staying here. very good value for money.

It was very handy for visiting a relative in Maryborough nursing home.

Pool is nice.

Wrong ventilation system. Smell from kitchen was everywhere. We get the key from room which was occupied another clients ! Very unprofesional.

My first room was old and tired not like to pics on the web page when I complained I was moved to a modern room that was nice but very small for two people

Lift broken down meant I had to push my wife in her wheelchair up a long ramp to access another lift. Did not like the price we had to pay on April 11th. Compared with price we paid on April 15th

Everything! Second stay there and I would definitely go back.

With special occasions you can hear it in the suites while those guests are outside.

Free parking, towels dropped in even though requested no cleaners.

Price of drinks at bar and again increasing after 3am.. overall was happy and would go back.

My sister and I stayed in the hotel on 27/03/13 for 2 nights. We were so impressed with the staff, they were so helpful, especially Orlaith, who deserves a special mention. My mother was diagnosed with cancer 4 weeks ago and she was rushed down to Cork hospital to have massive surgery. She was due to be admitted on Tues 26th March, but it was pushed back tom the Weds, so we needed to move our stay back one day. We had booked through Booking.com which clearly stated no changes, no refunds, which suited us when we originally booked, but when I rang the hotel and explained our circumstances and how our dates had changed, Orlaith changed the dates for us without any hassle. It meant so much to us, because it meant one less thing to worry about during this very tough time for us. We loved everything about the hotel.. The room was spacious and clean, the food in the Bistro Bar was fantastic, parking, location, we were so happy with everything during our stay. We will definitely return for another stay with Mam and the whole family when she gets better.

Just one very small criticism.. The shower was very weak.

Booked a suite room so had large bed for us with a separate seatin and tv area plus walk in wardrobe so no clutter in the room ,our little boy had plenty of space to play with hes toys watch cartoons and run around safely,great family room ,def recommend. Used pool which was v nice and ate n bar twice ,both times v tasty.,great service as well as.kiddies menu,coloring book and crayons provided ,staff v busy but efficient and friendly,def our fav hotel n cork and def worth 4 stars!

The staff were very helpful and polite.The food was good and the lounge and foyer were very luxurious and inviting.

The rooms were very disappointing. The T.V. was not flat screen like stated on the website.The volume was broken and there were only a few channels with very bad reception. The wifi did not work either in the room and the taps in the bathroom twisted completely off when turned. the room was outdated and cramped and not 4star worthy.

the location is good

the room are not as nice as it is on the picture/description. Lights did not work in the room, old furniture, beds not comfortable. Hotel not good for kids (nothing to do). Too expensive for the quality received. Might need to pay for suite to get nice and comfortable stay.

The hotel is to fair from city needs a taxi ride which becomes very expensive, the city is too far to walk by along way!!

Staff were excellent, very helpful after we had our car breakdown, facilitated us in leaving the car behind and organising, from home, for car recovery on the Monday. Waiter at lunch very, very helpful when Liam had to go out just after the food arrived to meet the mechanic.

Very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor outside our room.

Location and lunch in the function room on the Thursday. Lovely reception area.

Carvery Breakfast and the cambridges brown bread

The restaurant/bar was lovely and food was very good, breakfast was also lovely and we really enjoyed the pool facilities were excellent. Grounds around the hotel were also lovely, and good location.

Family room we had was a bit dated, beds were uncomfortable, no mattress provided for travel cot and security light outside the window was very bright, Room 210, and there was a lot of noise from traffic outside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very luxurious and modern. I was just in cork for the day on a job and decided to stay the night, the place was so nice and relaxing I decided to stay again the second night! The breakfast is a must and the chef happily serves you breakfast with a smile on his face, which is a rare thing at 7 o clock in the morning! Great value for money and can't wait for my next trip to the hotel!

Very friendly, comfortable, good service. Nice contemporary design rooms and bathrooms. Bar had a good atmosphere and very busy for being midweek.

Only negatives would be the hallways to bedrooms are a little unkempt and could do with tidying, but the remaining decor was very good especailly the rooms. No radiator/heated towel rail in the bathroom, so it was cold. Wardrobe was very small if staying there for a longer duration (only there for 2 nights so was enough for me), maybe this type of room is for short duration stays?
