Helpful friendly staff. Dinner was nice and well priced. Room was nice and well presented A little grey, bit of a maze, good for weddings!..was a little put out to be rang by Reception twice on Saturday night complaining of noise levels in the room when we had an unsettled 2 year old and teething baby. Surely a risk with a family room and the protocol would be to move those complaining rather than annoy those already adequately stressed?! Little dampener on an otherwise nice stay

Nice big room, lovely bathroom, great pool and facilities I slept very badly as the window of the room 410 would not close completely and the noise from the traffic nearby was dreadful.

The beds were really comfortable,. Great location for me. The air conditioning has never worked properly there so I think they should fix it. I have stayed there on a number of occasions and it has never worked properly. We were luckly it was so cold outside and we had the window open because the air con, kept shooting up to 24 degrees, that is too hot to sleep in

We stayed at the Rochestown Park Hotel during the Guiness Jazz Festival. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. The accomadation was spacious, clean, if a little dated. However we did notice that other accomodation was more up to date maybe it is a work in progress. Room servicing was excellent, as it was completed by the time we returned from breakfast. The reception areas of the hotel are very contempory and spacious. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The leisure facilities were excellent, the jazcuzzi was not working during our visit, however this information was relayed to us before use. There was a complementary phone for a taxi service which was fast and efficient. Overall we found the facilities and staff at the hotel excellent, which made for a very pleasant stay. The drinks prices at the bar were a little excessive.

Kids had restricted access to the pool - this was very irritating, especially since 1) we were out of the hotel for most gf the day, and I2) n any case the pool was empty when you asked us to leave the pool.

Location and price were great. Bar food was very good. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and well decorated, a bit on the small side though. The pool wasn't great. Oddly shaped so couldn't put in a swimming lane. There was no availability for a massage on the day we arrived (Saturday) and they didn't provide the service on Sundays.

Having said that the location was excellent, I did have problems actually getting off the 'ring road' and into the actual hotel - I arrived on a wet friday evening (not uncommon in ireland) and would have appreciated some clearer / more obvious signage - although the hotel itself was very obvious how to get into it wasnt !!

The hotel was really lovely. Reception staff were really friendly chatty and welcoming. Staff passing in areas always said hello. There is a lovely calmness about the hotel. We really enjoyed the pool area, very big, well heated and again relaxed. Nice jacuzzi and sauna/steamroom. We ordered room service and it arrived hot and well presented and really good value, good portion sizes! Breakfast next morning we went down early as advised by other reviwers so there was plenty of selection, but we still had to ask for teas and coffee and toast after a significant wait, but waiting staff were friendly. Overall we would recommend the hotel.

Hotel rooms were very modern and spacious. Nice lighting - bathrooms roomy. Leisure centre very good. Bedrooms were too warm for summer. Air-conditioning stayed at 22.5 degrees all the time and wouldn't change. We had two rooms and both had same heat problem. Didn't want to open window because of traffic on motorway outside. The duvets were very heavy, winter standard. Difficult to sleep with heat. No shower caps in rooms.

“The hotel upgraded us to a fantastic room with a balcony over looking the river. It was clean and stylish and was in a perfect location, with the bus station for airport buses a road away and a couple of minutes walk to main shopping and restaurant area.
