the bedrooms were excellent and very comfy. they were small but had plenty of storage.
Reception Staff did not seem welcoming and felt uneasy asking for help, as if it wasn't their job.
Breakfast finished at ten and we missed it
food and service in the hotel bistro was excellent
large hotel draws large groups and there was a function on with young "adults" who wanted to party on the corridor til the early hours
The location suited us as we needed to be close to family in rochestown
No bad experience
Food was good location excellent
1. No Bath in room. 2. smell of smoke at times through air conditioning 3. arrived for breakfast at 10.30 am and we were treated with disrespect as staff wanted to finish up(very unhappy with this experience)
Sutton restaurant was disappointing. Kids meal arrived 20 mins after ours.
the pool and the two large beds in a family room
Not enough towels
Breakfast presentation very poor for a 4 star hotel, very small buffet breakfast area, not much of a selection.
Great staff, good location, amazing hotel with high standards at a good price, can't say a bad word about the place!
The leisure centre
Staff and the room wasn't so clean
modern rooms Helpful staff Child friendly
alan served us our dinner and was most helpful and was a great people person, 10 out 10 for him.
Car park was poorly lit at night and had a poor surface
We have stayed here on a number of occasions when we visit our family in Cork. Staff are always great. Love the pool. We had some drinks in the bar in the evening which was very enjoyable and relaxing. I have no doubt we will stay at the hotel again soon.
my phone would not pick up the wifi for some reason!
The staff were cheerful and helpful. The kids loved the pool (I hate having to wear a swimming hat). Breakfasts great.
Bed not very comfortable and pillows too high and non-squashy (admit I'm fussy). Also very high - my tall 4 year old could hardly climb in!
Staff were excellent
Loved the changing lights in the room , a colour to go with every mood , bathroom was beautiful and the shower was massive loved my stay . Thanks !
We arrived on a cold wet night, the hotel was warm, our room comfortable. We dined in the Bistro Bar and the food was good. Breakfast was fine.
Hotel seemed very spread out due to large central atrium and the fact that the bedrooms are build around an internal courtyard - we had booked two rooms for our group and while on the same floor they were some distance apart
Lovely hotel with all you could ask for.
Location slightly out of the way and entrance easy to miss.
requested early check in on booking - this did not materialise ! public areas cold and dining area cold during function .
Suttons Bar is a great spot for a few drinks
The bed and the bedroom was so tiny! Uncomfortably small! The wifi didn't really work that well. We were on the 5th floor so getting the lift took forever! This hotel is beautifully decorated but the rooms are just unforgivably small. Won't ever stay there again!
The room was stylish and comfortable.
Wifi not available in all areas of the hotel. As a solo traveller it would have been nice to be able to read the paper on my tablet while having breakfast. this was not possible. The shower was not working properly so could only have a luke-warm shower.
The decor of the hotel was lovely. From the lobby through to the room we stayed in everything looked like a 4 star should do. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious with plenty of storage space.
The shower head was powerful but broken, water would spurt out of the sides and completely soak the floor in the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was self service but I felt I could have made something tastier. The same goes for dinner. We had room service from suttons bistro as we were too late to sit in and have dinner (burger, lasagne and cheesecake) but none of it was very desirable and was not worth the over €50 price tag
