The room was comfortable and roomy, the staff were helpful and friendly and the views and location were stunning. It felt a little tired - worn carpets in the corridors, for example - and the dining room was a bit outmoded with a rather over-formal feeling. |

The staff were warm and wonderful and the quality of the food and dining was fantastic. The rooms are very well appointed, very relaxing atmosphere. Our stay was excellent. We had an issue with no hot water from the bathroom sink faucet. |

The hotel is a very relaxing and secluded place in a beautiful location. It represents old values of quality place and friendly service. We didn't get to have dinner but breakfast was excellent. |

Our experience here was fantastic. The staff was superb, the hotel extremely comfortable, and we would most definitely stay there again. It was a pleasurable experience all around. Definitely an A++++++ hotel! Loved it all. Thanks so much. |

Friendly staff. Wonderful setting. Great restaurant with adjoining piano bar. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. Rooms decor is a bit dated but rest of the hotel experience makes up for it. |

The narrow road leading to it from the main Clifden-Roundstone road--thank goodness we never met any oncoming traffic on the times we used it! |

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rock Glen Country House Hotel. The location was perfect for our stay and the setting/scenery was beautiful. However, I have a concern re: Booking.com as a reliable agency. I changed our original booking dates and received a confirmation e-mail from Booking.com. The change was not passed on to the Rock Glen Hotel and there was no room available on our 1st night. |

The old world manor feel was very unique and special. The special rooms in the hotel, like the drawing room, snooker room, residents bar with piano, the dining room and the tea room - it was lovely. The scenery is breathtaking. Tiny things like the taps in the bathroom were a little old fashioned and gushed out water. On the other hand, the shower was amazing! Also there was no ironing board in the room. |
