With a private walking trail to the cliffs where you might see the dolphins, Rockmount House is recommended by the Guide du Routard and offers Atlantic views and free parking. Just 5 km from Clifden town, guests can enjoy orthopaedic beds and full Irish breakfasts. Bright and airy, every room at Rockmount House B&B includes real timber floors, free Wi-Fi, and a private shower room with a hairdryer. All rooms include a TV, and most enjoy beautiful sea or garden views. A broad breakfast menu is served every morning, with a choice of hearty cooked breakfasts as well as locally smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and fresh coffee. Lovely B&B set in a wonderful landscape. Food was excellent and our hosts very helpful in every regard. Packed lunch was also good value. Hopefully we will get the chance to return.

Stunning view, amazing welcoming, perfect breakfast! To sum up, it felt like home! Really nice place for children too as there is a trampolin and a lovely dog. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Rockmount house is a very nice B&B located a mile or so outside of Clifden on the infamous Sky Rd. Great if you have a car, long walk to town if you don't. The accommodations were great but a tad tight for three adults. The hosts were very accomidating and gave great travel advice. The highlight is a 1/2 km walk to cliffs on the coast, essentially on the B&B property. Not as high as Moher but pretty spectacular for a B&B. Breakfast was very good. Recommended highly for the walk and the hosts.

cet hotel est formidable, le meilleur de notre voyage en Irlande; les chambres sont très belles, décorées avec soin, très propres et spacieuses; l'endroit est magnifique; il y a un chemin dans le fond du jardin qui mène directement aux falaises, c'était fabuleux; le petit déjeuner était parfait et préparé avec la plus grande attention; enfin les patrons sont charmants

I come from that side of Ireland but had forgotten just how amazing and spectacular the whole environment is. I would highly recommend a visit to everyone. Go! There was nothing not to like. Absolutely nothing. We would go back tomorrow and stay a lot longer.

Awesome family room for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) with amazing cliff and ocean views ! Plus, the greatest escort ever - Lady the collie. Good breakfast. Great value.

I found this Hotel very interesting. You can go to city centre in a 10 minute walk or by car. The B&B has a good Irish breakfast, nice view to the moutain, friendly staff, warm and clean. Advise to stay there.

Tutto assolutamente stupendo!!!! La camera, il b&b, I padroni di casa che ti fanno davvero sentire in famiglia, fanno di tutto per accoglierti al meglio e farti stare bene..la posizione è fantastica... è già il secondo soggiorno che facciamo a Rockmount perchè è davvero un'esperienza unica!! Come uniche sono le passeggiate alle scogliere private del b&b accompagnati dal fantastico collie di nome Lady..il cane più intelligente ed elegante che ci sia sulla faccia della terra!! Un vero piacere essere ospiti al Rockmount B&B...grazie Anne e Paddy!!!

L'accueil était excellent. Le chemin privé vers une magnifique vue en bord de falaise était inattendu. Très bon petit déjeuner personnalisé. Nous recommandons vivement ce B&B pour les amateurs de nature et de convivialité. A 5 km de la ville sur une route étroite, mais cela ne nous a pas gênés.

Accueil très agréable. Maison très bien aménagée et cosy. Chambres et parties communes confortables. Beaucoup de charme. Vue magnifique, chemin privatif menant sur les falaises. Petit déjeuner excellent.

J'ai adoré l'endroit, les montagnes, le lac.. Et notre hote était incroyablement souriante et agréable ! Je le recommande à qui est très simple de nature et qui aime se perdre au milieu d'un superbe paysage ! Mais encore une fois, nous avons été acceuillis de la meilleur façon qui soit... :-) J'ai tout aimé, juste un peu loin du centre si l'on a pas de voiture ;)

Ambiance chaleureuse, à remarquer l'hospitalité, qui même pour un B&B, est remarquable. Le paysage est superbe (quand il ne pleut pas). Le breakfast est copieux et varié.

tout: le calme , la déco, le paysage, le confort... mais surtout l'acceuil de paddy et son épouse. ce sont des gens charmants, hyper acceuillants. ils ont un magnifique collet "Lady" qui vous accompagne pour une ballade au bord de la falaise. nous gardons un excellent souvenir de cette maison. C'est un peu loin de tout et la route pour y accéder est trés étroite et la nuit pas éclairée du tout mais si on recherche le calme c'est idéal
