Ambiance generally was lovely Beautiful dining room and good food Excellent staff
sash windows hard to negotiate
The setting was sensational and the food, most of which is locally sourced, was incredible. On arrival we were greeted by the host and made to feel instantly at welcome.
The peace and tranqulty.
The locks on the bedroom doors were difficult to lock.
The hotel, both the position, welcome, service and food were excellent. We will be back again
We didn't find anything to dislike.
Breakfast was delicious with locally sourced products, but the dinner was probably one of the best meals I ever had. The rooms are very pleasant and the staff is very friendly.
My initial room was right above the kitchen and the noise was terrible due to the constant doors banging and kitchen items clattering. I asked to change room the following morning and luckily they had a room available.
Everything. The location, staff, food, atmosphere were perfect. Nothing could have been better. I will definitely be returning.
Nothing-the entire stay was perfect.
Very limited selection of draft beer/larger.also outdoor area would benefit from heater.
Great staff, elegant but not snob, fabulous food.
Location ambience staff food would highly recommend
We were really impressed with this beautiful hotel, set in a scenic and tranquil environment. Every aspect of this hotel was impressive, bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly, and this is the first time, we have every been offered second helpings at dinner. The food was 'simply delicious'
It was apparent that many of the guests were on 'return visits' to the hotel and, as such, the manager and other staff spent quite a lot of time interacting with them. In this respect, we felt a little like outsiders and feel that perhaps more effort could be made with 'new guests'. I had a glass of wine before dinner and was disappointed that it was not chilled, a replacement glass was equally un-chilled. I also suffered an injury during my stay and was quite amazed at the lack of concern shown by the manager when it was brought to his attention.
We enjoyed the evening meal, the food was great and the dining room was old world.
Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Strongly recommended!
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food very good Quiet and peaceful, very relaxing. Lovely view.
Bed and pillows slightly hard for me as I have arthritis, husband found them ok,
We are experienced travellers. I found this property the day before on Booking.com. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the GM Mark, part of the family, welcomed us and upgraded us to a junior suite with views of the water. The room was lovely. We had drinks in the conservatory before dinner and dined in their superb Restaurant. By far the best meal we had in Ireland. This is great value for money. Try and stay at least two nights. There are beautiful walks to do. Highly recommend Rosleague Manor.
Beautiful house in lovely surroundings. Excellent food and friendly staff.
WI-FI did not work in our room but I could get on-line downstairs.
Amazing room, food excellent, situation lovely. An excellent weekend break.
Market does a great job running this welcoming hotel, the best stewed rhubarb for breakfast!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were comfortable and homely with no two the same. The food was locally sourced and delicious. The view over the bay was breath taking
Love this place and the folks who run it! Kudos to the Foyles family especially Mark and the fabulous staff who made our stay a memorable one! Thank you!
Really enjoyed our stay, wish i stayed longer as it is a great spot to relax and adventure from
Food was amazing!
everything, good food, good breakfast, good people, excellent garden, nice countryside, perfect irish weather conditions (windy and rainy!), nice place!
to be honest : the beding in our room was a nightmare, and some maintenance details are to be overlooked, but this should in no way prevent you from staying at this marvellous, like at home hotel!
