Friendliness of the proprietors. Patricia the 'Bean a' Tí' (Woman of the house) was simply lovely, down to earth and more than helpful securing me a taxi I requested within ten minutes of my arrival. Super clean and comfortable room, bed and ensuite. Slept soundly something I rarely do when away from home.
Nothing that I can think off. Although, I would suggest, having found that Patricia and her husband speak Irish (as I do) that they might include that fact in their marketing. That would be helpful to Irish speakers who might like to use the mother tongue while on holiday. A little 'noticeable' Irish around the house and on the website would be helpful too in that regard.
All about this lodge was fantastic.
It was a little too remote for us. We enjoy being closer to nightlife.
A warm Irish welcome from Pat. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable. Conveniently located.
Everything. Location was great only a short distance to shopping if you wanted. Beautiful scenery and facilities. Breakfast was great.
Mrs. Joey was so friendly and accommodating. We felt at home and would highly recommend staying here. Our room was immaculate and very comfy!
The wifi did not work at all, not even in the common areas.
Warm welcome Thank you
Pat is very friendly and welcoming. Accommodations spotless and very quiet.
EXCELLENT ROOM COMFORTABLE BED TEA MAKING FACILITY BRIGHT AND SPACOIUS FAB GREAKFAST
Very scienic view of Ben Bulben from conservatory at breakfast time. Location easy to find on side of main Sligo road.Very modern property with lovely decor. Beds comfortable and peaceful sleep. Bathroom small but spotless with power shower. Cooked food was very tasty. Very suitable for a short stay business trip.
Cold business like approach of hostess. Constant references to the importance of making money and making the business pay etc. W were handed a list of breakfast options as soon as we arrived with instructions to put it on the door before bed time so she could prepare in advance. It listed the extra prices on it. Be warned porridge or any other hot item is €5 extra per person on top of the €40 we were already paying per person! We stuck with the full fry . Fine print says 3% extra will also be added if paying by credit card!! We paid in cash and promptly left!" Wifi did not work and as host had promptly disappeared once she had delivered her list of extras I didn't bother chasing it up with her. Loads of stairs up to entrance and down inside the building also to bedrooms. Not suitable for senior citizens.
Everything was perfect. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and gave us lots of useful information about the area. The house is very nicely decorated and comfortable. We spent a very good night. The breakfast was great.
Comfortable room, nice and clean, good breakfast, good location. Friendly welcome
Wi- fi was a bit hit and miss but this wasn't essential
Peaceful, Beds comfortable, Breakfast lovely, toilets very clean, I would recommend its good stay for anyone/everyone. 10*star**********
There is nothing that I didn't LIKE.
Great rooms, great location, lovley breakfast and delightful hostess Patricia!
very pleasant hostess
small room and extra small shower/toilet room
Accommodation is excellent. Real luxury. Lovely and clean. You receive a real welcome, nothing is too much trouble. A restaurant was recommended, good food. The hosts always make time to talk to you, they are a lovely couple. You receive a big welcome from Bob too. Lovely view of the very unusual mountain also within easy reach of the beach.
Nothing to dislike
It was a great in-between location for us. We were traveling with our sons 11, and 17. We did the beach and some historical stuff. The place was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. We enjoyed visiting with our host.
GPS could be a little spotty, but that is just the area. Things closed early so plan accordingly.
Bathroom a little small.
Good breakfast. Friendly hosts.
Room quite small. Not very homely
Host. Food. Parking. Near village. Scenery - mountains.
Pat was a delightful, friendly hostess who runs a beautiful Lodge which we will recommend without hesitation. Decor is a credit to her, loved our stay sad it was not longer.
