Gracing the main street of Lisdoonvarna, The Royal Spa Hotel is at the gateway to Ireland’s National Park, the Burren. Just 6 miles from the coast there is traditional music every night. The family-run Royal Spa has large rooms, all of which have private bathrooms. They also feature satellite TVs, hair dryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The street-side Café has an extensive menu and is famous for its Seafood Chowder. There is always an array of home baked treats for guests to enjoy. Had a lovely stay in Royal Spa Hotel. We were very well looked after by Ann who runs the hotel in a very friendly but professional manner. Nice spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Loved the healthy choices at Breakfast. A Great place to base yourself for touring Co Clare. Would definately Recommend it. and look forward to going back.

Very central. Poor facilities.E.G.not enough sockets, had to unplug tv to plug in kettle , no phone to reception...had to carry cases up/down stairs/ rooms small, had dinner in out of the way area with no other diners.restaurant was not open 7pm..... Parking limited/ shower not very warm on first night. Very basic room.

The location to the Cliffs of Moher was our reason for choosing this hotel. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. Our family room was comfortable. The town of Lisdoonvarna is tiny, but we found a nice pub called the Irish Arms and had a pint and a meal. I also recommend taking the time to visit Doolin Cave from there take a right and drive out to the Burren. Beautiful scenery!!

The proprietress was very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. She has the gift of welcoming one and putting one at their ease.The breakfasts were very varied, with many healthy options. I only took one evening meal, which was good, especially the fish chowder. Parking was easy, adjacent and off-road, and the hotel was easy to find in the middle of the village on the main street The bedroom was a little small perhaps for two people sharing, but I was allocated a room with a most comfortable double bed, with good ensuite facilities. I came at the wrong time, to early in the year for musical activities, the info on the internet was misleading about live music every night, although that may be true of high season.

Buona la camera, bene il parcheggio privato nel retro, ottima la possibilità di mangiare nel ristorante interno, la colazione è super, l'unica nota è che iniziava alle 8.30 del mattino, ma per il resto tutto perfetto.

Ho soggiornato con mio marito e I miei figli di 11 e 14 anni. è un hotel vecchio stile, con particolari nelle sale comuni molto sfarzosi. Le camere sono grandi e alcune con una bella vista.
