In the heart of the burren perfect fir touring.
No evening meals on offer we had trouble locating somewhere to eat. The Irish arms was perfect at the top of the town.
End of season so restaurant closed at night.
Quietness and place nice & clean .
Wi Fi not working too well , Hotel & most of the town was closing down for winter so the crack was not around and some cupboards were getting bare with supplies. We had a corner room which was clean but small
Staff lovely and very helpful. Had a clean and spacious family room. Location fantastic - central of Lisdoonvarna & also of surounding places to visit such as the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Fanore Beach and alot more! Will definitely come again!
Unfortunately poor customer service spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay, good food but poorly served, felt we were inconveniencing staff. On paying the bill when checking out not even a thank you, a smile or hope you enjoyed your stay.
Location, staff helpful
No phone in room to contact reception for iron etc
Excellent service. Nice place to stay.
They hotel was booked for 3 females but we rang and asked if we could add mm a fourth guest and g was no problem to the lady we spoke to.
Our only problem was that we wish we had have booked a third night in the hotel!!
The room was very small and the decor was very dated. In comparision the bathroom was decent in decor. When we arrived and fancied a lie down we were interrupted by a member of staff who insisted on entering the room to change the menu, even though we twice asked him to come back. We were there at the time of the match making festival and the entertainment was something to be desired.
Breakfast, location and staff
small shower and im quite slim.
Really enjoyed our stay there very central. Will be back.
Good food and friendly staff
Loved the location Staff were lovely and friendly food was lovely great spacious family room
It might have just been a once off well at least I hope it was only a once off but the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied from the previous guests there were a pair of latex gloves and some other things in the bin I was horrified to be honest to think maybe the bathroom may not have been cleaned properly and having paid 200 euro for one night one would expect to have it in tip top shape one of the lamps in the room wouldn't turn on there was a loose connection and one of the electrical sockets was very loose a bit dangerous for a family with young children but all that aside the staff were very friendly and food was beautiful
right in the center close to pubs and shops
Great location to explore the Burren and in the centre of town with ample parking. Good breakfast and friendly staff, I left my mp3 player after me and when i rang back the following day they posted it on to me.Thanks very much
Location is fantastic, room is lovely, breakfast was nice, lady serving our breakfast was so nice and helpful (a great worker)
Our bed in room 16, was so noisy and not very comfortable. Double beds are quiet small. Door lock didn't work for us, until we got help.
Lovely family run hotel in great location for travelling around the Burren. The restaurant and cafe are both of very good quality, with great range of options. Room was very comfortable with good shower. Had a great time-highly recommended.
Good Breakfast, Friendly staff. Good location for sight seeing.
We were the youngest in the pub by about 30 years, most people were in their late 60's upwards. Doolin which isn't fair away is much more lively.
Staff, Breakfast, Location.
Triple room was family room, so there was 2 beds instead of 3. However, they put the extra bed in the room when asked. I think this is a problem with Booking.com and hotel booking program.
We couldn't ask for more. Ideal location. Spotless room with very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Also off street parking for guests.
Wy-Fi connection not in bedroom.
location is in city centre and close to Doolin. staff was gracious. breakfast was tasty.
too simple for our standards. we paid for what we received. we regret not spending a little more for something nicer.
I was worried when I saw it had a 2 star rating, but accommodation was very limited because of a festival in nearby Doolin. we were going to the festival so I booked anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. the hotel was clean and comfortable. the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
the decor is dated and it could do with a facelift. If you are looking for 5 star luxury you will be disappointed but if you want a clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay the Royal spa will be fine
Hotel was handy to tourist attractions, The staff were excellent. Price was reasonable for what you got. Perfectly cooked egg with breakfast everyday. If I was back in that area again I would stay again.
Would liked to have breakfast times earlier. Bar area very quiet at night, would need some entertainment, we had to go to another local hotel which had live music on every night. Bathroom could do with some repair work around the window area. Breakfast was nice always had a perfect egg, but sausages were quite small and only one slice of bacon ,a bit more would be nice. Hair dryer In room didn't reach very far out of the drawer and you couldn't adjust the angle of the dressing table mirror. The only reason I wouldn't recommend the hotel to other people is I never make recommendations to friends as everyone's tastes are different.
Good location. Nice breakfast and service
