The Rooms were nice and clean. Hotel Bar is nice. Nice Food. Friendly Staff. Great Location. Nice View of Bray.
It takes about five minutes for the shower to get hot.
had to be moved 5 times, very dirty, hairs on pillows, shower curtain dirty, carpel all stained, wallpaper hanging off, had to listen to a very noisy cistern for 2 hours and it then broke, damp smell, mouldy smell on corridors, had to walk from building to building to finally get a room at 8pm,a report for the papers and further more
Bar staff were brilliant. Bar snacks good value for money
Walking into the breakfast hall the tables were full of dirty dishes. Stand and wait to be seated, we were ignored for 5 mins. Staff were ignorant except for one young girl. Oh and I'm still waiting for the milk I asked for.. not good enough really... no wonder this hotel is up for sale.
Big room nice food
Broke bed broke window triped over carpet stuck with black tape cold no sleep night
Food in the bar was fantastic, great value. We did not use it but the leisure facility looked nice.
Parking 5 euro per day Rooms are are in dyer need of refurbishment. The smell in the hallways, our level smelt damp. We think this is due to the pigeon faeces on the fire escape, our room 232 was quite close to the escape, although we couldn't smell it in the room, the hallway made us heave. I wouldn't suggest this as a "holiday" hotel but to get your head down, for an overnight stay it's ok. Very poor tv reception, the safe didn't work, the live music was very disappointing.
Good location comfortable and very clean with very helpful and polite girls at reception.
Price of Alcohol in bar was worst we have seen wine is only sold by glasses for 5.50 and bulmers 6.00e put us of going bar second night and found a nice local near by with cheaper prices.also as guests of hotel u shouldn't have to pay 5e per night extra for parking
The staff on front desk were lovely.
Ok, the first time I stayed here someone entered my room at 3am... They had checked another guest into my room. It was however dealt with ok. I got an apology and a refund for the night. The second and last time I stayed here I locked my door from the inside. The lock jammed and I got locked into my room! This is a huge safety concern. I had to phone front desk to come and let me out. I got a pathetic apology of sorts. Also tripped on a brick sized piece of broken furniture in my room, chipping my front tooth. Am seriously considering legal action against them specifically for the breach of safety, twice!
I cannot think of a thing
Hotel is dilapidated, room walls paper thin, located along a maze of narrow corridors at different levels. Beds were ok but room small, en suite more like a closet. TV didn't work correctly, lift was broken and the food in the bar was deplorable. I was offered a dessert to compensate for rancid coleslaw. I refused as I was afraid it would be worse. I was not however offered a replacement glass of wine. Overall this hotel need to close for renovations or close entirely.
Reception was helpful on arrival and at check out
Lack of smoking facilities which was there a few years ago considering the number of days rain in Ireland
rooms not clean no kettle hairdryer iron in room food very slow we waited 45 mins bad smell in bar
the room was big enough
the lift was scary and old they charge more for the car park gym staff rude the bed sheets were very dirty
Location to seafront. Could park the car at hotel and walk to seafront. Right in centre of Bray town also. The leisure centre was lovely. The breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced.
Location: near to the train station for Dublin and to the Bray sea front. Fast Intranet in the lobby.
Very noisy, even more because of the guest of a wedding organized in the Hotel and because of an unannouced Alarm test on Monday morning 10am. Definetely not guest oriented. Room not very clean. Cuts in Sheets. Impossible to stop the water after a shower.
Bar staff were helpful and band playing we're excellent
Bathroom was filty, tiles were cracked on floor.
The live music. The Leisure center.
Bad drain smells in the Mens changing room and in the main bar area. The Hotel is rather dated. The Breakfast selection was poor.
Swimming pool but then again the water was freezing cold
The hotel is located in a very nice area, not far away from the city of Dublin. The train ride along the coast is wonderful.
The room was dirty (spiderwebs all over). You can tell it hand't been properly cleaned for a long time. For the price we paid I was expecting more!
Price, Location, Day Reception Team, Bar Staff.
Entire hotel needs to be snag listed and work done to tidy it up and fix a significant number of small repair issues. Customer service was inconsistent, priority was on cleaning & housekeeping.
rooms cud do wit bein updated a lot outside noies
breakfast used cheap bacon..smoke from people outside drifted into the rooms and lobby.just a standard hotel.nothing special, will choose somewhere else next time
Clean, bar, and right in the middle of Bray. Great value
Staff Location Price
Beds are dated and uncomfortable Sleep comes slowly
Staff were friendly and helpful
Overpriced & breakfast not even included. Not good value for money
We liked the location of the hotel and the leisurely walk through the town to the promenade. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom are very basic but it was spotless clean. We really liked the idea of having to swipe your key card in order to gain access to the elevators or stairwell to bedrooms. It gave us a great sense of security.
We were very disappointed with the bar food. It tasted like it was deep fat fried and over cooked . Presentation was awful. It was warm but by no means hot. Breakfast was a slight improvement.
