Night staff pleasant Swimming pool
Location - alarm in shop across from room on all night. Breakfast very poor Workmen in breakfast room One small lift
The jacuzzi was lovely and hot.
Rubbishy beds, grubby rooms and grubby bed linen.
Good sized room.
In folder in room gave wrong times for breakfast....therefore we missed breakfast!!
The leisure centre was nice, pool good.
The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the carpet and upholstery was dirty. The bathroom wasn't clean. The corridors are dirty and paint is chipped and dirty. The breakfast was just about edible. One nice trainee staff member (female) on arrival and nice young man in the bar but the rest were curt and grumpy. I wouldn't mind things being old and well worn if it was clean but its not. The leisure centre was nice but changing rooms absolutely freezing! Never again.
I liked the located if the hotel and the pool
Before you take a shower you have to run the water a good but first , the room need a lot of maintance work and the pillow very uncomfortable . The bar food took a long time to come out .
Loved every thing. Staff were great. Room was perfect. Kids club lovely Zoe was fantastic with the kids x
There is nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Will highly recommend it x
Only thing good about it was the breakfast.
Everything about the hotel. Firstly we were put into a room with 2 single beds and we were moved to an absolutely disgraceful room. Room was fallin apart. Bed was like a brick horrible smell. I couldnt un-recommmend this place enough.
Clean hotel. helpful friendly staff/house keeping. Pool/gym free, games room pretty good idea. Bar had entertainment throughout the weekend which was good. Walking distance from beach and Dunnes. Food/drink was reasonably priced. Over all would stay again.
Food was lovely, however i thought the stake was over priced for what i got, also i feel paying for parking while staying is a let down. Needs redecorating rooms are dated, I stayed during renovation and felt it should have been mentioned, due to some noise during the day, also cold downstairs as workers going to and from the back entrence. However this is only temporarily so i understand
Friendly staff and relaxing
Tthe staff were so friendly the swimming pool was amazin defo going back dwn
I have notting bad to say
I stayed with my daughter , and both thoroughly enjoyed the facilities of the pool . the food was also very good
the room we had was okay but the curtains did not fit the windows so therefore let in a lot of light and draught.
this hotel was a good one to stay in because of the pool and other facilities around the area.
it needed updating a lot,the bathroom was the first thing that needed a refurb.
Staff very friendly and helpful leisure centre excellent
Room very out dated carpets very old and no hair dryer very noisy from main road outside especially for a family room with a young child
Not enough food for the money
Bugs in the bed room and bathroom I told the Nite manger, Ash ,
Room was small, am a frequent hotel stayer and all of the hotels I been to for a one night standard double room have been twice as spacious and clean. Door of bathroom had holes where it had been punched, and old dirty curtains on wall with rips.
Poor, dirty old fashioned and faulty t.v
Bed was old and too soft...
Bedroom had no ventilation windows very damp with heavy condensation. Bathroom very cold no heating.
Peace and quiet beds comfortable breakfasts good
Had to move second night as there was a leak of water from ceiling then moved to a room with poor tv reception
spa and pool friendly helpful staff food
The lift made a cool Kaa-Chunk sound every time it stopped!!
Bedside lamp had blown bulb while the other had no bulb, wardrobe was broken, hair on shower wall, after 20 minutes in the shower orange gunk came up from drain, when I made a complaint to the receptionist I was assured someone would be sent up to my room to rectify the problems but after waiting an hour it was clear no one was coming. Lobby was freezing cold with no heating on. Car park is always full due to the leasure club, leaving hotel guests having to park in a public car park 5 minutes away. Car park staff had a bad attitude and started making had signals that were derogatory
Stains on carpets stains on walls broken Tilles in bathroom
Room filthy not hoovered sheets not clean will never stay there again
The staff were very helpful. the bar & food were good the breakfast was very nice the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. We were at a party in the Powers court room which was a great night and the staff brought us out trays of sandwich's when we sat in the bar afterwards.
Unfortunately the Rooms were of a very poor standard. the first room we went into was filthy mouldy and tatty, when we went down to reception say it was unacceptable and there were other people complaining too. Then the duty manager came to see another room with us and he could see we were not just making a fuss it was bad. He offered to take the breakfast charges off the bill and for us to have a better room the next night as they were full they could not do anything that night, so we agreed. The next day we had to pack and leave our bags behind reception as there were no rooms ready and we wanted to go out. When we got back that evening they gave us keys for 2 rooms to choose from, they were still not good we chose the very last one and just resigned ourselves to spend one last night up there. We couldn't use the kettle as it was filthy and looked rusty, I ran a bath and the water was yellow! the carpet was dirty and had a patch cut out of it so socks on all the time, the duvet cover was ripped but clean, the window frames were dirty as were the nets, the main drawer curtains were actually hanging off the rail. The mould spores are of real concern to me as there are all kinds of health problems that can be picked up from sleeping in those rooms. We had a very unsettled break unfortunately
