Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Anne(the owner) was very accommodating and was very pleasant. Went for a meal in the city and the Rusheen Bay Lodge has a set fare with a local taxi at a very keen price. Will definitely stay again when in Galway.

Anne our host was absolutely lovely Room was cramped. The B&B faces on a busy road so bayside rooms are noisy. Bright floodlight in parking lot shone in our room all night long

I had an excellent stay at Rusheen Bay House. The property is located just outside the city facing the bay with great views. It is a short drive in to the city centre but enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was spacious and very clean. I loved the freshly cooked breakfast, although i shouldn't have had it as there was such a choice of cereals, spreads and fresh fruit, especially the fresh strawberries and blueberries which were fantastic. Anne the owner was very knowledgeable on good local restaurants and bars and was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Would definitely stay again.

Its easy access to the west coast as its location means avoiding Galway city traffic. Also the land lady was very nice and the food was lovely. The shower leaked water all over the floor and there were no hooks or shelves to hang towles etc in the bathroom.

The b&b was very comfortable and homely. I liked the nice sunny room with a view . the hairdryer was easy to use and the breakfast was one of the best we had in 2 months holidaying in the uk and europe. All these factors contributed to making us feel at home. Thankyou. The muesli was very nice too.

We've stayed there before an found the place to be in an excellent location, clean, friendly and caters well for our requirements. Not a complaint as such, but it was a little on the expensive side

The location just in front of the Galway bay, beside to be romantic, allows ideal logistic to visit both the city and the Aran isles. The owner very nice and helpful to arrange our planned entertainments. The family room is defenetely too small to host 4 people. The bathroom, being very small as well, could benefit of additional shelves on the walls.

Breakfast was delicious, room was a little small, but OK.. They didn't make up our room or changed the towels. The guesthouse is in Salthill, so its a 40 minute walk to Galway. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the guesthouse to the beach/restaurants/pubs in Salthill.

The friendly staff, particularly the hostess. Good cooked breakfast. Good parking. Room too hot - had to leave the window open. The bedding was so hot we removed the quilt/doona and slept under a sheet and the overblankets. Double bed was up against the wall making it difficult for the second person to get in and out of bed easily and not without disturbing the other.

I would not recommend this B&B,it was over priced, towels where not replaiced daily, there was no bottled water for making tea in your room you where expected to take the water from the bathroom!!!!!!! Their was dust on the door saddle as you entered the room which I cleaned my self as I could not look at it.The bathroom mat was dirty and when you stood on it your feet stuck to it.There was advert on the front wall as you entered, saying rooms from E30.How can they charge my family e296.for b&b for two nights in such poor accomadation is beyond me????? Ps the advertisement keeps saying hotel I would say this misleading the public!!!! Ths is avery poor b&b My husband is coelic we told the staff on the firt morning of our stay,we had our own bread, but we thought on the second morning they would have some but no. I would say it spoiled our experience of our stay in Galway,no plans to return.

What I liked about the b+b was that it was just outside Galway city and it was close to my location for the next day , there was plenty of car park space and it was nice and quiet. We had a 9 month old child with us and the room we where given was too small as the cot was taken over the room, there was plenty of literature about Galway, put I could not get into the free wi-fi
