It's right in the heart of some of the best bars and resteraunts in town
The decor is very outdated. The lobby etc is fine but the rooms resembled something from bram stokers Dracula. Terracotta walls with an amazing Fire place and beautiful ornate mirrors, a simply bit of decor and updating would do it the world of good!
not far away from the temple
no wifi at all they told me the 4 time that I asked to have a problem with the wifi. too noisy. the discothec makes a lot of noise was not possible to sleep no attention, the girl told to us that we will have a coffee - our fly was early in the morning. and the boy said to us at 5 oclock in the morning that he has not idea what we were talking about. not hot water in the shower, yes in the bathroom. humidity in the floor near the bathroom was room number 101,
The room was warm, stylish and clean. Price was good. Breakfast included.
Fire alarm went of at 7am, cleaning staff cleaning loudly and slamming doors from very early in the morning. No way of opening window to let air in as there is a late night bar outside the hotel. So lots of screaming and drunk shouting till nearly 4Am. Tv is so old that the colours are all green and gone off on the screen and most of the channels didn't work. Once the sky box went into sleep mode or turned off. Then all rooms lose near all stations.elevator is extremely slow and really only big enough to hold one person and a small bag. Completely missed breakfast as we got absolutely no sleep
Room was cold, very outdated and dreary. Bed was not comfortable, tv so old and small with only 2 working channels. Only 2 plugs in room none near the bed for charging phone. Windows like sheets of paper, could hear everything from outside and nightclub noise untill about 5.30am. I suggest paying the extra money for a decent hotel.
Noise until 4am
Very friendly and helpfully staff. Still with smile.
I got a huge room which was very clean. The staff very helpful.
If you don't like too much noise this may be a problem as there is a lively disco/bar in the hotel but ear plugs are supplied. The room was very hot and was unsure how to turn it down.
Breakfast was good.
The noise of the clubs and people were unbearable. Could not sleep till 7am and at 8am the cleaners started playing music and hoovering. Never stay here unless you are deaf or want to party till 7am yourself.
Excellent staff, good location, good value for money, great bedroom.
Loud sounds coming from a nearby night club every single day.
Comfy bed...great breakfastxx
Beds very comfy and breakfast so good
Room wasnt warm enough and had plug in radiator in room
Very good value always stay when in Dublin
Great Hotel. Staff were friendly, room was comfy and clean. Brilliant location.
Can be quite noisy on a night as there is a bar/night club downstairs. But that didn't bother us.
The location is great and the size of the room we stayed in was excellent!
Great location for town and shopping.
Hotel is a bit shabby and could do with a face lift - the bar was very rowdy at night with lots of fights and broken glass everywhere. Bouncers were on site and dealt with trouble swiftly but there was a very tense atmosphere.
Located above Night Club. Could not get a sleep until 5am on Monday night.
The reception staff are helpful...The rooms esp room 108 vibrates with the nightclub below impossible to sleep before 4am then cleaners start playing more music @8.30am so not a happy guest ...room 201 as I stayed 8 days had a portable heater room v cold
Had a fantastic time at the Russell Court with a group of friends. Rooms were fine, staff friendly and the nightlife downstairs on a weekend was great. We were on the second floor so didn't hear any noise from upstairs even though Dicey's Bar downstairs was booming on Sunday Night with all drinks 2 euros! Would definitely stay again!
The pictures used on your advertising makes the hotel look quite nice but to be fair in reality it's very disappointing the staff failed to tell us that there was free parking in Stephens green for guests we also asked for a quite room we could still hear music at 4.45 am the bar staff in your night club abused me Verbley and kicked the barrer at the bar at me I did report this to the night manager and also the breakfast was not great at all . You might read this and think oh these are just complainers and do nothing about your hotel or you could use this complaint as a tool to improve your business .
The rooms were very pleasantly furnished and the breakfast was excellent in a lovely dining room. The reception area is very comfortable and welcoming. The location was wonderful and just a short walk to Grafton Street.
Because of the noise coming from the nightclub we didn't get to sleep on the Friday until 3am and 4am on the Saturday. This is totally unacceptable for a three star hotel and we certainly will not stay there again nor would I recommend the hotel to friends, purely because of the night club noise. I think the hotel have 'shot themselves in the foot' so to speak because I'm sure, like me, guests would definitely return....not us.
Awake all night till night club finished. Room on ground floor at the entrance of club.
location and price
noise (though it was expected) room carpet was worn off, very old condition
This is the place to stay if you love music as there is a club at the back of the hotel that parties all night every night. The food in the morning which came with the stay was lovely and is very filling. The place is clean and the hotel staff where most friendly and even the ladies that came to change the bedding where really nice and helpful. I would give this place an A+ for price and friendliness but if you don't like loud music this place is not for you unless you want to use the ear plugs they provide in each bedroom of a night.
On arrival we were given a box room barely big enough for a double bed. I've stayed here several times before and had nicer rooms so I went down to inform reception whereupon we were given a suite. This room was much nicer however it already had bags and personal items belonging to another guest in it when we walked in. We went back to inform reception again and we were given another 'box' room with no lighting basically and very poor decor. We were uneasy for the night due to this careless mistake. Would be very reluctant to stay in this hotel again.
Room was very big, old four posted bed, old furniture, nice chairs. Close to town, nightclub beside and good breaky.
Noise levels - no sleep till 430 until found ear plugs! Then grand. No bar or fridge in room. Tv tiny.
