I liked everything about it wasn't one thing I didn't like will be returning again couldn't have got any nicer than the 2 people running it it was an amazing stay
Great breakfast. Good location, a 10 minute walk to the city centre
Clean and tidy. Great breakfast with choice of full Irish or conteniental. Friendly welcoming staff.
Tv too high and old fashioned
Marie and Luke were the most helpful hosts ever. The food was delicious and the rooms were not only comfortable but spotless too. Would definitely book San Antonio again. I've already recommended it to friends.
Noisy guests one night but it was sorted straight away by Luke.
no internet in the room
Warm Welcoming Parking Location Breakfast
Nothing wrong to note
Tiny Bedroom and tiny beds. No duvets. Shower water luke warm.
Breakfast! Location Friendly owners Early check in
No TV remote
Room way too hot
Good breakfast, understanding of dietary requirements, clean and good value, really nice people running the place.
Breakfast finished at 10, kinda early but some people did arrive down late and got fed, only fault if I had to find one maybe
Like all the Irish B&B's we have stayed in the ownership was friendly and informative.
nothing to complain about
close to hotel newport
Host and Hostess were very friendly and had helpful information and great good humor. Spotlessly clean! We had space for parking our car too. Good breakfast.
A little bit away from central Dublin so we took a taxi back and forth. We could have taken the bus, but it would have cost almost as much as the taxi.
Friendly, hospitable, good breakfast. This is our second stay here and we hope to return again.
everything was perfect
The B and B was close enough to walk to the major sights (20-25 minutes), but was quiet and peaceful at night. The atmosphere was friendly and the proprietor was helpful. The room was large, with a double bed and a single bed. The breakfast was made to order.
Wifi worked only in the downstairs area, not in the room.
Staff were so friendly I asked them to book a taxi into city at night as it's a 10 min walk and they offered to drive us in, breakfast was very tasty!
San Antonio Guesthouse is a lovely clean guest house, right across the road from the Newpark Hotel. The owner provided a great welcome and breakfast was lovely.
In error I had booked a twin room instead of a double room. The twin room was lovely and clean but very small and located in the attic which in summer weather is extremely warm making the room feel very cramped. In addition an error was made with our booking and whilst I had booked for two nights, the owner only noted one night which was only realised the night before we arrived leading to the owner ringing around other B & B's trying to find a room for us. It also meant that we had to pack everything at 11am and transfer to the other B & B further out of town.
We enjoyed the good position not far from the city center, the kindness of the owners, the cleaness of the bedroom and the other spaces of the house.
No wi-Fi connection. The road to the city center is sometimes a little bit too dark at night
Clean, friendly owners
It was about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre of town. This is not a problem for me, but worth noting. No wifi in rooms.
Clean and practical, great breakfast. ...
No wifi. ....
We stayed here as we were attending a wedding the The New Park Hotel which is across the road from san Antonio. Breakfast is excellent.
Very friendly service and magnificent breakfast.
rather small room for 3 people
Lovely lady owner who was very warm and helpful. She rang us a taxi as we didn't have any local taxi numbers. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety. Bedroom was comfortable and the shower was great. Overall I would recommend this b&b and will stay here on any future stays in Kilkenny.
