The hotel needs updating.
Clean and staff were very nice. Good value. Great location.
Could not pick up wifi. A bit dated and the bed was hard. Sheet had hole in it.
Location Value for money Helpful and friendly staff Powerful showers
The location was very nice, nice and clean,
Hotel was very old. Smelled like old people if you know what I mean... Weird smell. Rooms were ok. Bed not comfortable sheets and blankets not great. Breakfast everything was done on a pan and can out with black bits on it... We waited about 20 mins for someone to come back to me to get more toast and then no toast came. Was just very unhappy with the stay would not recccomened it
the bed tea in my room breakfast was lovely the staff were very helpful
the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. going above and beyond in accommodating our early breakfast needs due to an early flight, for our whole group.
no wifi, small tv on other side of room.
Breakfast, location, options for single/double rooms
Noise from other guests / thin walls and doors, the tv, bathroom, and wifi
Very expensive compared to other places we went to
friendly greeting. good breakfast
no tea service in room.
Welcoming and friendly staff who made it clear that all they wanted was for you to enjoy yourself
Liked everything, fab people, thanks for the late breakfast :)
FRIENDLY AND QUITE.NICE BREAKFAST.
NOISE OF NEXT DOORS TAP RUNNING,
The staff were wonderful and so accommodating.
There was a lovely paperback novel left in the lounge, written by John Grisham which was very readable. Also, shower was abundant.
No restaurant. Room utterly basic in nowadays standards. No parking (busy weekend). Ridiculously small TV. Very salty breakfast and no buffet. Noisy traffic. Army style blankets in bed!!? NO toiletries NO information book NO tea making facilities in room unacceptable for a room this expensive. All furnishings and decorations (dried/fake flowers, sofa from last century, dusty, outdated - museum feel really). Oh, and paper thin walls aka non existent privacy!! Any B&B in the area will have twice the amenities for half the price. I nearly broke out in tears at the checkout after a very disappointing visit (only for the hotel part). I've always gotten great choices from Booking.com. Must reconsider using this site!
Pleasant service and breakfast. Good coffee
Poor decor in rooms with dated bathroom and tv
Tom was a charming host and most helpful and friendly. The staff in the breakfast room were very efficient and pleasant. I stay in Lehinch every year, yet have only just discovered the Sancta Maria Hotel. In future this will be my hotel of choice. Thank you, Tom for a very nice stay.
Location and staff.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
I was late for breakfast and asked if I could get tea & toast, however full breakfast was offered and in a lovely pleasant manner. This is one of the older type hotel in Ireland, clean and comfy and a willingness to meet their guest's needs, a home from home, I will recommend to friends and hopefully will be back.
Room was a bit cold, but it was July so central heating was switched off.
This is a gem of an hotel situated in an ideal location in Lehinch adjacent to a premier links golf course and close to an amazing sandy beach and promenade. It has good parking facilities and is within 5 minutes walking distance of quaint little shops restaurants and pubs ( full of music and banter). The staff and management were courteous kind and helpful and made my stay a happy and enjoyable experience. The accommodation was pristine clean very homely and comfortable and the food was excellent. This hotel was good value for money and I will return again in the future to sample the hospitality.
Family run establishment.Very pleasant and efficient service. In town so its beside shops, restaurants etc.
didn't like leaving Lahinch
I find it difficult to think of anything I liked.
It was more 60's or 70's
The first hotel where they had not only glutenfree bread but also cereal available. My husband didn't have to ask for it as the manager told him about all glutenfree options on arrival. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Carpets from the 60s, lino in the bathroom from the 80s. Damp odour in room (so bad i bought a candle!) No tea/coffee making facilities as advertised I locked room when we went down to breakfast (personal belongings in room) and when i returned bed had been strippped& windows opened (i.e. someone had come in prior to check out)
Very expensive for very outdated décor. Payment on arrival without seeing room. Leave key at unattended reception on leaving. While down at breakfast your sheets are taken off the bed
