Everything. If you want a nice place to stay that is peaceful, close to beach and main street, lovely food and a friendly staff with plenty of knowledge of the local areas then this is the place to go.
The old father ted like styling of the hotel, near doolin and lisdoonvarna
Staff excellent. Breakfast lovely and premises really clean. Location fantastic. Would recommend a stay here for Lisdoonvara as there is no problem getting taxi over for a reasonable fare.
Very freindly staff
We liked this town. The accommodation was quaint but well managed. Breakfast very nice.
Staff and location. Nostalgic trip down memory lane :) (Decor brought me right back to my childhood and with it a familiar sense of comfort!)
No tea or coffee facilities in our room. Room was pretty cold at night.
Very friendly hotel close to the bustling metropolis of Lahinch - 200 yards away. Well run, good facilities and charming staff from the boss down. Close to golf, surfing, and tourist areas this is excellently located and would use this as a base should we return.
Hard to find anything to grumble about though I can't remember if it has tea/coffee facilities - always a plus point.
The friendly staff the hotel was quite and peaceful at night. We liked the fact that breakfast was served fresh from the kitchen. The hotel has an old world charm
Not having a lift not good if you have bad knees
The hotel needs updating.
Clean and staff were very nice. Good value. Great location.
Could not pick up wifi. A bit dated and the bed was hard. Sheet had hole in it.
Friendly staff at breakfast
Dated and it smells like it, this hotel is to be avoided. Extremely uncomfortable bed, paper-thin walls so that the snoring from next door keeps you awake long into the night. But worst of all, at 9am on each morning of our stay we were woken abruptly by a racket in the corridor, as the staff on patrol banged on each door individually shouting "good morning, breakfast call". I've never experienced anything like it, if I saw it on a TV sitcom I'd find it hillarious. But there was nothing funny about it when I was hoping for a lie-in on my holidays. And within minutes they were back at the door wanting to change the bedclothes. We were still in the bed !! Don't stay here if you are planning a weekend of rest - you won't get any.
Hotel in Great Location near town and opposite Golf Course and road to Cliffs of Moher. The hotel staff are friendly and the full Irish breakfast was very good. The hotel has a real country feel and is very traditional.
Needs a little refurbishing.
Location Value for money Helpful and friendly staff Powerful showers
The location was very nice, nice and clean,
Hotel was very old. Smelled like old people if you know what I mean... Weird smell. Rooms were ok. Bed not comfortable sheets and blankets not great. Breakfast everything was done on a pan and can out with black bits on it... We waited about 20 mins for someone to come back to me to get more toast and then no toast came. Was just very unhappy with the stay would not recccomened it
the bed tea in my room breakfast was lovely the staff were very helpful
the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. going above and beyond in accommodating our early breakfast needs due to an early flight, for our whole group.
no wifi, small tv on other side of room.
Breakfast, location, options for single/double rooms
Noise from other guests / thin walls and doors, the tv, bathroom, and wifi
Very expensive compared to other places we went to
friendly greeting. good breakfast
no tea service in room.
Welcoming and friendly staff who made it clear that all they wanted was for you to enjoy yourself
Liked everything, fab people, thanks for the late breakfast :)
FRIENDLY AND QUITE.NICE BREAKFAST.
NOISE OF NEXT DOORS TAP RUNNING,
The staff were wonderful and so accommodating.
There was a lovely paperback novel left in the lounge, written by John Grisham which was very readable. Also, shower was abundant.
No restaurant. Room utterly basic in nowadays standards. No parking (busy weekend). Ridiculously small TV. Very salty breakfast and no buffet. Noisy traffic. Army style blankets in bed!!? NO toiletries NO information book NO tea making facilities in room unacceptable for a room this expensive. All furnishings and decorations (dried/fake flowers, sofa from last century, dusty, outdated - museum feel really). Oh, and paper thin walls aka non existent privacy!! Any B&B in the area will have twice the amenities for half the price. I nearly broke out in tears at the checkout after a very disappointing visit (only for the hotel part). I've always gotten great choices from Booking.com. Must reconsider using this site!
