So friendly and very close to the beach.
Mary, our hostess and owner gave us a warm welcome, tea and cookies and a lot of very useful information for touring Dublin and the surroundings. The whole house was newly remodeled and perfectly clean. The breakfasts were served fresh and delicious.
Mary eas a great host. She looked after us very well.
Home baked scones and bread with home made jam. Yummy!
Staying at Sandyhills was a pleasure. A clean, comfortable bedroom and an attentive host who made sure we had all the information we needed for the area - even made a reservation for us at a cozy pub in town. The breakfast was tasty and delightful. The location is near, but not too near, the airport. Can walk along the coast and into town, as well as visit with the ponys across the street.
home away from home, stunning location close to the beach. Don't bother staying in Dublin, Sandy Hills is only 15 minutes away, very close to the Airport
Everything amazing people where so nice and friendly
It was the best place I stayed at in Ireland. This is saying something as I have stayed at some FANTASTIC places. Mary was THE best host and I thank her sincerely.
It was somewhat hard to find because I was traveling in the dark and it was pouring with rain.
Everything was just perfect: - a wonderfully welcoming hostess, who even made us little breakfast takeaway hampers because we had to check out very early - clean, modern, warm and comfortable room - lovely location close to Dublin, but quiet and romantic by the sea side
Everything really, could not fault it at all.
We arrived late in the evening and the owner picked up from the roundabout so that we can find the way. We had hot tea upon arrival. Very helpful staff and a lot information you will have for your tour in the country.
-try the homemade pancakes for breakfast-yummie!!! -beautiful big room -perfect to get to the airport in the morning -unbedingt die pancakes probieren-superlecker -schöne große Räume -perfekte Lage zum Flughafen
-the owner of the b&b was like a strict mother to us -when we came home 1am everything was closed-we had to ring -die Herbergsmutter war wie eine strenge Mutter zu uns...etwas speziell -als wir um 1 Uhr nachts zum b&b zurück kamen mussten wir Sie aus dem Bett klingeln, da das Tor mit Code verschlossen war
Mary was a fantastic host. She mad many helpful suggestions. We were especially thankful to be able to check in early as our flight arrived in the morning.
An absolute beautiful House with an amazing hostess in Mary. Short walk from the beach and the town center. This was the last night in Ireland after traveling the whole island for the past 14days. We stayed primarily in B&B's and this one was our favorite. Very roomy, great breakfast. Will definitely be back.
That this was our last night not our first. Went over our trip with Mary and realized how much we missed. Should have stayed here first.
Mary went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable. Food excellent, fresh and local. Sleep comfortable and quiet. Advice freely given with precise directions. Recommendations for dinner hit the spot.
The welcome, hospitality, helpfulness, attention to detail and advice on locations in Ireland to visit.
Wonderful place to stay. Mary was a great hostess, very knowledgable about what to see in Ireland.
Everything was great about this B&B, especially its proprietor, Mary.
Very helpful hostess, especially in planning our trip in ireland 15 minutes from dublin airport 5 minutes from dublin train spotless & comfortable great location for attractions north of dublin wonderful homemade bread, scones and jams!! near beach
Mary is a very friendly and helpful host--very personable Delicious breakfast!
great host, great long beach, beautiful scenery with only few tourists, very clean rooms, great breakfast, perfect B&B
The rooms were huge and tastefully decorated. Very clean and fresh. Nice options at breakfast (I had American pancakes freshly cooked that were glorious) and home made bread, scones and preserves were provided too.
Having to choose breakfast option as soon as we arrived - maybe give us 10 minutes to settle in and think about it? Not being 'allowed' to come down to breakfast at the same time as the rest of my family - 9 of us in total but happy to chat and wait our turn.Instead we had to come in rota
Room sizes, good quality of furniture, linen, bathroom and bedroom facilities. Mary's warm welcome and friendly manner. Excellent value.
Mary's B & B is an absolute credit to her. I was here on a flying visit of two nights. She made it feel like a week where a minute became a hour. An oasis of peace and quiet, I shall certainly be dropping in to experience Mary's hospitality once more on my future visits back home to Ireland.
There was absolutely nothing not to like.
Very friendly and excellent sized room.
The only think I can even think of was the TV was a bit small (14"?). Could do with something like 24"+, especially given the big size of the room. Having said that, the main reason was to go and see places and not sit in the room watching telly!
