5 min walk to Landsdowne Rd DART station. Across the road from AVIVA stadium. Lovely bar & restaurant
Friendly staff Location Late breakfast at the weekend
Everything was execellent
Proximity of rail network, comfortable if quite basic room, hotel facilities, eg bar, restaurant, shuttle service. Helpful staff.
The layout was a little confusing to begin with; the result of the hotel having been created from a terrace of houses. But not really a problem once we got the hang of it.
The proximity to RDS and parking space. The price is exceptionally competitive, especially with respect to other hotels in the area. Free and accessible parking appreciated. Pros better than cons and will definitely prefer to stay there when in area.
The bar and general facilities are a little tired. Carpets scruffy. The room was clean but lighting poor, especially when working in evening. Wifi was difficult to access from laptop
BEDROOM CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE.
BREAKFAST SAME AS USUALL I ASKED FOR POCHED EGGS THEY CAME ON A COLD PLATE SWIMING IN WATER I HAD TO MOP IT UP WITH MY NAPKIN AND PUT EGGS ON TO SOME WARM TOAST I HAD MADE. NOT NICE.
Excellent location great value lovely room and comfort a great welcome and excellent breakfast
Bar staff were fine but not as friendly as reception
Had a great nights sleep on their comfortable bed followed by the nicest breakfast I had in years
The only downside was there was nothing I really fancied on their barfood menu, but the food that they do have is well prepared and tasty.
Very poor power supply Very poor wi fi never worked Very bad lighting in room Bedside lights not working Tv stations v poor
Love this hotel will definitely be returning
Attentiveness of staff to our large party ( 50+) Feeling of friendliness and willingness to adjust in hotel catering to meet our group's needs Despite renovations under way in the hotel it didnt impact on the comfort of our stay. Quality of food in restaurant was very good
Wifi Strength in hotel rooms was inconsistent Set student menu for a 4 day visit : might have been sensible to change the dessert option a few times.
Great location,,friendly and helpful staff.
Decent location (but at least 30 mins walking distance from city center), comfortable beds, clean rooms, warm enough, excellent staff. Didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment. No amenities nearby, so you'd benefit a lot if travelling by car. Free parking space on hotel grounds, which is a big plus. Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, but otherwise satisfying. Good value for money overall. Quiet, secure location. Only 10-15 mins walk to the sea, although there's no beach in that area.
No amenities nearby. Poor Wi-Fi.
Nothing not to like
close to centre clean cheap
Ideal for a concert at the aviva or just a stroll to the RDS. Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Secure parking in a nice area of the city and not far from the dart. Some nice bars and restaurants just 5 minutes walk away. Have used before and will again. Good value for money also.
Nothing really to complain about at all. Finding your room can be a challenge if you've been on the guinness
The room smelled stale
The hotel is great and the staff are so friendly. When we got there the room we had was a bit small and when I saw reception they moved us to a very large room with no fuss. I will definitely return as my whole family really enjoyed it. Thank you
The hotel was lovely on the exterior with a modest interior. The staff was nice enough, nothing extraordinary. Our room was clean and the shower was fantastic. It's a bit of a jog out of the city center, our cabs were about 10€ per night. In the mornings we took the DART which was very quick. I would definitely stay here again.
Easy to find in a lovely area. Great if you need access to Dublin port or airport. Hotel was clean and tidy. Hotel bar was friendly and the food was tasty and very reasonable.
Rooms were a little basic compared with the hotel lobby and bar area. But overall good value for money
Probably the best customer experience in a hotel ever. The staff could not do enough for us. The staff made us fell like they really cared (without being over-the-top or false) and really took pride in the job they do.
This hotel is clean, the staff are friendly enough, their breakfast is really good. Location wise, it is really close to the Aviva and the Dart Station and just a little walk away to Sandymount Village. The area is 'well to do' and safe. This is a decent place to stay if you are looking for a nice hotel to base yourself. Parking is included which a a bonus. It's also very family friendly.
This hotel can be noisy sometimes. The walls are pretty thin compared to some of the newly built hotels around. So it helps to ask for a quiet room. It gets very busy during rugby matches and the price of the rooms has increased dramatically over the last year.
I love the family feel to this hotel. On arrival there is no large noisy impersonal foyer. On leaving I heard the early morning crackle of a fire just lit by a member of staff near reception. Very relaxed family feel. I am coeliac (Gluten - free) diet and I can always get a Gluten free chowder or soup with GF bread at the bar throughout the day - it is also quite a decent size bowl. You always get a feeling that the staff are happy in this hotel and that they are treated well by their managers. Beds are comfortable- love the bath even if it is small. Love that I can control the heat in my room. Lovely quiet vicinity and great parking with easy access out to main Rds. My favourite hotel in Dublin.
I love staying in this hotel but unfortunately their prices have rocketed and I have only been able to stay this month due to special offers in winter months. I attend acupuncture meetings in the hotel every month and would love to stay each month if prices remained within my budget. It would also encourage me to stay an extra night.
We were very impressed with the food and service in "The Lineout Bar"
