We loved everything at this B&B, the owners even adjusted my breakfast because I wasn't feeling well. Everything was excellent, clean, great location, loved the town! If we ever come back to Ireland we would 100% come back to this town and this B&B.
I felt the ensuite needed updating and appeared a bit grubby . The room had a kettle but although there was tea there was no coffee sugar or milk .
Clean Close to airport Nice bed
Had to come back three times to find owner. Small shower (could barely stand up the whole way) The owner was not very attentive. Tv not much bigger than my hand. (Seriously!) WiFi was slow Shower head was detached and had to be held because it would not fit in the holder.
Hostess was very nice and made a good breakfast. The room itself was large, but the (bathroom was TINY). WIFI had good connection. Very close to the town (Malahide). Bed was comfortable.
For some reason I thought this was closer to Dublin, but it was about a 25 minute drive. You can also take the bus though. The bathrooms were TINY and you could barely even stand in there with the door open. The water pressure was OK, but I noticed in Ireland the water pressure is pretty bad everywhere we went (including the B&Bs). When we arrived, we had to wait outside a few minutes and it was raining. Would have liked some type of bell to ring (unless we missed it...?).
Location and room very pretty. Breakfast nice..lovely host..was very helpful when asked for iron.
TV tiny and not tunable and WiFi extremely patchy. No milk for tea n coffee in room. Only realised all this at 10 pm on Sat night so did not want to get dressed to go down and sort it all.
Cathy was very nice, hospital, and an excellent host. She gave really good tips for taking the bus in and out of Malahide and Dublin. Malahide Castle is a must!
The BnB was close to the airport for our flight home the followng morning. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. The made-to-order breakfast was wonderful. This was one of our favorite BnBs!
No disappointments to report!
the disign of the room , nice bed, friendly staff
A great place to stay, very friendly host.
Cathy was wonderful...upbeat, informative and simply a perfect hostess. I needed a quiet refuge from being the driver while my friends adventured into Dublin. It felt like a sanctuary of peaceful energy. Highly recommend. Close to the airport but in a quiet neighbourhood.
Friendly, helpful hosts. Pretty location. Close to public transport. Clean and comfortable accommodation.
No lounge facility. TV didn't work. No milk for early morning breakfast.
We wanted to be near the airport for a flight the next day, and this was the perfect place to stay. Our room was lovely, and Cathy was great. She recommended a wonderful pub (Duffy's) for dinner. The breakfast she made for us was delicious.
This B& B had such a beautiful room. The size of the room was larger than most, the decor was beautiful, the beds comfortable. The location was perfect for getting to the airport and for seeing the town of Malahide and the castle. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip of over 2 weeks. It was very good for a last restful night.
Hospitality,Food,and the surroundings..
Perfect for the last night before our early morning flight home to the US. Good value, lovely hot breakfast and free parking. A good and cheaper alternative to the usual chain airport hotels.
Great location for a rest near airport (5 minutes drive). Very clean, with a "home away from home" feeling.
Our host was fantastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the b&b was conveniently close to the airport. It's easy to catch a bus into town and the fare isn't much. Breakfast was great and we couldn't be happier that we spent our last two nights in Dublin at this b&b!
Getting into town takes about 30-35 minutes but it's easy to catch a bus and doesn't cost much.
great location to airport, bus routes, and touring areas; left our car at B&B and took bus to Dublin; great way to travel because parking is limited in Dublin; city tour was best way to go; hop on and off as you wish to see the sites
The owner Kathy was a really friendly person who made us welcome and feel at home. My wife sister arrived early from Canada and she was looked after By Kathy. Thank You Kathy
Landlady, Accom, breakfast, location
Very clean , nice people, next to the airport .
Loved the quietness and the breakfast. Loved everything
Very nice place, Cathy the host is lovely. Close to the lovely village of Malahide. Breakfast was fine, maybe a bit of fruit would be good. Enjoyed our time there and would recommend to others.
Can get a bit noisy when other guests leave their room, I think the walls are quite thin.
Comfortable and welcoming.
The road and small TV
I liked the room and it was an easy bus ride into Dublin. The owner was very kind and made sure we had directions and correct change for the bus.
