We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and this was great as we stayed for 4 nights and could relax in our room at any time. There was a great view from our windows.

It has free parking It was overpriced, reception staff were rude, I rang a few days earlier to book dinner for 7oclock and was told on the phone that was fine but when we checked in we were told the whole restaurant was now booked for a bus load of people and we could not have dinner when I explained I already had it booked the lady at reception didn't seem to care, had a deluxe suite where the toilet would not flush properly and the sink appeared blocked, service at breakfast was very poor waiting ages and I didn't even order a whole fry, would not reccommend this hotel, hotel is dated and service is shockingly poor

I like the new modern rooms, the lounge area and the 24 hour bar. Having stayed here before I know there are two sections of scotts, the new modern section and the older unrenovated section. Knowing this we specifically booked a newer room, clarifying so during booking. However I didn't like the fact that we had to specify to get what was advertised (online) and felt sorry for the guests that didn't.

staff in the hotel were exceptional from the check in staff to the cleaning staff to the breakfast servers. Room was out of this world pure comfort Bar staff were rude, slow, unprofessional and obviously didnt like their jobs! thank god there were other pubs in the area and you didnt have to rely on the bar in the hotel. Also the tv only had 3 channels and reception was awful. Security in room wasnt good either as the balcony doors opened up onto a share balcony and cleaners left windows open when we werent there and anypne could climb in the window!

Location although the main gate closes at around midnight so if you are there for a night out then you have to walk to the other entrance which in the cold and heels it is frustrating. Check-in staff were rude upon arrival and departure. Reception area was lovely and warm but bedroom and hallways were very cold. The so-called "hairdryer" was completely inefficient and the bathroom was not very clean as there was hair on the tiles! Also bathroom could do with being revamped its dated looking. The walls between bedrooms are no more than a sheet of cardboard so if you dont like privacy this is the place for you. Overall, Scotts hotel is overpriced and there are much better places to stay in killarney so I will never stay in this dump again.

Fantastic staff, excellent service our room was ready at 12:30 and we were left checked in. We were delighted with this as it was pouring rain outside.. I have recommended this hotel to everyone I meet after my trip to kilarney. My room 226 wAs a bit small in comparison to my friend in 232 but the service was top class so it made no difference to my stay/ experience in Scotts. Top class

I really enjoyed my stay in scotts.staff wer lovely and the room was very clean and cosy.the bar is nice and relaxing and again staff lovely. The only thing I could say was there was no bath in our room. As a mother I like to chill out and have a relaxing bath if I'm away from the kids.oh and the dressing table space was very tight in our room too.no where to put 'stuff' down. Only small details really :)
