Professional, service-minded attitude of owner. Decor. Location, which was close to city but far enough to be quiet. An experience comparable to a 5 star hotel but giving you an experience more in keeping with the local area, which is not a city.

5-star comfort (the first we have experienced in B&B;s) with attention to detail - music that can be connected to the room and bathroom speakers, . sea-view and a great night's sleep with a memory foam mattress and pillows...gourmet breakfast too...great memories with a thoughtful and friendly host. It's really people who make up one's impression of a country.

We spent 2 nights here and it was fantastic. A cut above your average B&B and worth the extra money. Good food, great room.

We loved everything about our stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge! The owners (Michele and Freddie) were delightful...very friendly and very hospitable. The entire lodge was spotless, with lots of options for breakfast. We were able to walk along the bay, and Galway city center is just a short drive away. We look forward to returning!

Specs on room were very nice, clean, went the extra mile to provide fresh milk for tea, fresh fruit. Location is OK, long walk to Salthill promenade, but a short drive/taxi to the city. Owners were very attentive, but could be a touch too much if you wanted something a bit private. If you want the personal touch of a B and B where you meet the owners etc great. If you want more of a hotel experience, I am not sure this would be a fit.

Not neccesarily that I didn't like it, but more a potential improvement .... when checking in showing us the room probably contained much more information then was required we are left standing in the room kind of waiting for it to be over. light switches and fans etc. Maybe for someone foreign that might have been needed but clearly from our booking we were not.

We loved the rooms and the view. They were very accommodating and helped us find a good restaurant for dinner. Would definitely go back.

    Nothing really.

Everything! This was by far the most amazing B&B I've ever book in any country. The food was beyond excellent, the design of this space is of highest quality, baths out of an architectural magazine, views of the water, amazing garden breakfast space, Fred advised on best routes for out trips during the 4 day stay. Can't say enough about the quality of this place

    That I didn't stay longer!

We stayed at the sea breeze lodge for only one night but within minutes of being shown around the place and the exquisite room we wished we could stay longer. The owner Fred is the nicest man you will ever meet and he has taken great pains to make each room world class and I mean world class. Every detail and amenity is perfectly executed from the tempurpedic bed to the rainshower to the ample space of the room to the built in music system. The sitting area and breakfast area are also beautiful. It's a five minute cab ride or twenty minute walk into the city. Tucked away in salt hill and overlooking galway bay this is a true gem I will be coming back to again.

Nothing that I didn't like. One of the few perfect experiences in my travel life.

Nothing to fault about this B&B. It was absolutely the best place we have stayed in during our time in Ireland. It lives up to the 5 Star standard it has earned. Thank you, Freddy and Michele.

The breakfast was delicious. The owner was extremely enthusiastic and offered help with anything from restaurants to taxis. The room was well laid out with some lovely extras like cheese & crackers and chocolate snack bars :)

The mattress was memory foam but was upside down so myself and my husband flipped it and then it was perfect.

Everything! We stayed in room #2 which is the lowest priced room with garden view. We were greeted with fresh flowers, bottled water, bowl of fresh fruit, and crackers and cheese. The room was more than adequate for us and tastefully decorated. Bathroom included en suite shower and separate tube. The bed linens and towels including wash cloths were of high quality. Breakfast was a feast, plenty of pastries, cereals, and hot breakfast cooked to order. We will definitely book again when we travel back to Ireland. Freddy took time to visit with us and played his own composition on the baby grand, absolutely beautiful piece.

Nothing, if you find fault with this B&B you are a miserable person and there is no pleasing you.

The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast is something I'd go back for alone, the room was extremely comfortable and very large, and any requests were met immediately, I couldn't fault it.
