This charming family-run guesthouse overlooks Galway Bay, and features free private parking on site. The beach is just across the street, and the center of the city is a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 213 reviews Very good
The hotel is ideally located between the busy center of Galway and the relaxed seaside resort town of Salthill.

Overlooking Galway and its beaches, the White House is 1.5 miles from the center of the city. It offers well-priced rooms with free Wi-Fi, cooked Irish breakfasts and free parking.

On Furbo Beach overlooking Galway Bay, Padraicins provides bright rooms and a unique, maritime-themed restaurant and lounge where guests can relax next to the sea.

We had a room facing the ocean. The location was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The proprietor of the Seaside was a very engaging lady and our stay was quite pleasant.
Its a way out of Galway proper.
Big room and bathroom, have cots for babies, free carpark.
We slept there for 2 night and loved it. Good breakfast, nice staff (we booked Island ferry through them), clean rooms, and great shower.
The only bad thing was bad wifi signal on top floor:)
They helped me very kindly with directing me and advising me to diffrent places in city. The breakfast was nice.
No biscuits with tea, TV very small. breakfast very average. not four star
Excellent b&b, stayed with husband and 2 babies, very happy with cleanliness and facilities and staff, great location in salt hill and would definately return!
Clean room & comfortable bed. Good parking and views over the bay (at the front). Price about average for the accommodation. Breakfast OK but no fresh or tinned fruit available even though it was on the menu.
Room on the small side with a communal balcony right outside the window which meant other guests could see into our room and could have proved embarrassing. A net curtain would solve that. Also nowhere in the tiny ensuite to put toiletries - a shelf above the loo would sort that.
Mother/daughter team were very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Breakfast very good, except coffee.
Coffee was not great. Late to open for breakfast. We would have liked to eat earlier and be on our travels earlier.
Very clean & comfortable room, very nice breakfast, Lovely & friendly landlady. I felt Noreen & Mary would do everything they could to ensure I had a pleasant stay in their guesthouse.
Great Breakfast :)
I wanted a hotel on the edge of Galway as parking can be a problem with city centre hotels. The hotel is ten minutes drive into town or a bus can be used. The area is quiet and looks over the bay.
The staff was kind and it was fairly quiet location for the area. Parking was good and easy and they were so helpful when we had to leave a day early cause of a scheduled conflict.
The inn needs some updating and felt very dark and Victorian. Our view was out the back on construction. The inn was fine, we did not like the whole area, too crowded for our taste.
Its ideally located ,close to the city ,the sea ,and on the road to Barna and other scenic areas
Room excessive heat small breakfast - very mediocre foreign visitors received preferential treatment There on business but denied cooked breakfast as I had to leave at 8.30a.m -too early for cooked breakfast
Owners very friendly and very helpful.Great stay, would stay again.
Bright and beautiful guesthouse in the stunning Knocknacarra area.
Nothing - maybe location
Asked for sea- view, got it with balcony but no key to balcony door. Daughter came with us last minute & charged an extra €10 for her sleeping in between us, she doesn't eat breakfast. Asked us for money the evening of arrival. Standard v poor .
Would recommend this B&B to everybody. Location, owner, facilities perfect.
Our bedroom was to small ,the light in bathroom not working and distance from Galway city to far Cost us alot of money on taxi's.
No wifi despite what had been stated. Breakfast only so-so. Location much further from Salthill than liked. Overall not bad but won't be returning.
Noreen was the perfect Hostess creating a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
It was a beautiful location with very kind staff, excellent facilities and a wonderful breakfast. I would highly recommend it.
