The location is excellent, the staff are very helpful about local knowledge , The food was first class.Have stayed at Seawinds before & will stay again in the future .
A good sleep
Location right on the harbour walk to restaurant. Patricia and Gerry are warm and informative without being obstrusive.
Everything an Irish B&B experience should be, the owners are on hand and full of useful info and friendly chat.
Very welcoming place, very friendly owners. Room was very big, clean, with beautiful view. We really enjoyed our time there!
Location and proximity to Galway and Slieve League Cliffs. Pretty coastal ride and very rural.
Bathrooms are tiny. The room we were in didn't have a view. Ask for the front room that has a view of the harbor.
Clean, neat, tidy. Very close to meals. Fantastic breakfast. Good price. Pleasant B&B operators. Front rooms look out over killybegs harbour
The couple who is running Seawinds is very friendly and approachable. The accommodation is basic but acceptable. Breakfast is excellent.
The breakfast and welcome from the staff
We could only stay one night.
Very close to the main scenery points, staff is really helpful for any needs. Lovely
Beds a bit uncomfortable
The proprietor, Patricia, was nice upon checking in. Breakfast was ample.
We stayed in a family room with one double bed and two twin beds. While the room was large, it appeared as if it had not been updated in decades. The beds were very uncomfortable. The Seawinds is a very basic B&B. I would not stay here again.
Had to wait a long time for breakfast which we had to choose a time the night before.Eggs were so hard cooked hard to eat.got menu mixed up, not enough room people had to wait for a seat in the dining room.they seemed totally. Inadequate for serving breakfast.Very poor WIfi connection.
Bagels with cheese (breakfast), very nice people!!!
Gracious, accommodating hosts and large, cheery room overlooking the harbor.
The efficiency of breakfast service could be improved and wi-fi was extremely limited.
the centrality of the situation and the friendliness of the hosts
the position on a steep slope which made it difficult for walking for older people.
Patricia was very kind and gave us informative tips and recommendations. The place was clean, breakfast was delicious and location was great - just in the middle of town.
WiFi was available only in the common area (the TV room).
Very friendly people, good breakfast, confortable rooms
Location, friendliness of staff, parking facilities
The b and b was full, the breakfast room could not accommodate all the guests so, although we had booked a time for breakfast we had to wait. This was not a problem for us but it may be for others who need to get away early.
Patricia and Gerry were so friendly and extremely helpful in connecting us with our Irish relatives. They also are very knowledgeable about the area and the many things to do. The breakfasts and accommodations were great.
Very friendly owners.. Central place in the town near harbour.
The hostess was lovely enough to give us a hand-drawn roadmap to the Slieve League Cliffs and other areas as well as tips on where to park...the location was great as well!
We didn't get enough sleep as a young couple started having a rather loud conversation in the driveway around 4am..they were then joined by a few more people and this went on til about 5.30am....
Everything. The owners are an extremely nice and kind couple, very helpful. Nice breakfast room where you can meet other guests. Lovely!
The hosts were very friendly & helpful, they us lots of info about places of interest in the area, the breakfast was perfection, nice & dry, an all found good place to stay.
it got a wee bit overcrowded at breakfast.but we had a nice lounge to relax in.
Jerry and Patricia were fantastic. Jerry in particular gave us excellent recommendations on food and where to go for a drink. He is quite the dancer and it was fun to see a bit of the local culture. Great place right in the midst of the restaurants and bars. Close to the harbor.
