Google maps couldn't find guest house for me. I ended up at the church then was directed by a local to head to UCC
Helpfull staff, as I was arriving late. The location suited me.
May have been just my room, but the place is a bit run down, and for a few euro more I could have stayed in a modern hotel.
It has the luxury style with a great price. Very good beds, service was great with free parking. Great Staff Thanks a lot
Low Water Pressure in the shower was the only bad thing.
The ambiente of the Hotel and the very friendly service of staff.
The coffee was instant coffee and no ground coffee offered. I find that unacceptable.
Bathroom and warm
Bed terrible, needs modernising - grubby carpets , needs paint , bad food, overpriced
Good o Location for ucc good breakfast
Bedroom off hallway and near front door noisy
Clean, charming, relatively spacious. Loved the location by the beautiful university, walking distance from most sites and city center. Quiet neighborhood.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable and hot water was on and off in the shower.
We had Room 7, it was a quiet room at the rear of the property overlooking the river, nice comfy beds, plenty of hot water, TV and wifi are good, let's of tea and coffee too. 10 mins stroll to the city centre. We have no complaints.
as soon as I entered Room 1 (ground floor) I could smell the drains from the bathroom. I told the staff and she responded that the bathroom was new. I could not open the window in the bedroom at night to get rid of the smell: the extractor fan was right outside the window. The worst experience I have had - I stayed away as much as I could
Location was great Have already booked return visit
I booked an economy twin which was perfect. The cleaning staff should be commended because the modest sized room was in excellent shape, complete with tv and wifi. The decor is quite distinctive- but nicely done, location is good - beside UCC, 10 mins walk to city centre. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. I got a sense that the place is well managed with attention to detail.
I thought it a little strange that there wasn't a flat sheet on the bed- maybe this is just in economy rooms.
Room was a bit cold, but it was the middle of January and an abnormally cold week that week.
Very comfortable clean cosy. Close to city.staff very efficient and welcoming.
only problem is the parking. Very difficult to exit the property when other cars parked on the property. Very narrow exit space. That's the only fault.
I had a great stay here. Victoria was very welcoming and I enjoyed chatting with her. The breakfast area was beautiful - I could sit there all day. Breakfast was gorgeous. I was given a double room even though I was only a single person and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotless. Great location - quiet and a very short walk to the city centre. Fantastic value for money.
Location is very central, staff friendly and accommodating- making breakfast according to your schedule, room has tv/wifi and drink facilities, free parking.
Room fairly small, but fine for a solo excursion (I'm guessing they range in sizes)
The staff was nice. She showed me all around and answered any questions I had. The location was perfect, right next to the city. The room was warm and cozy, and it was nice having a private shower and bathroom. Plenty of television channels to choose from. It felt secure and homely. There were extensive options for breakfast sure to please anyone.
The only down side, small as it may seem, was with respect to my Irish style breakfast. The tomatoes were whole cherry tomatoes and cold. I would have liked them fried like every other breakfast I've encountered. But honestly, if that's the worst thing I could think of, this place is obviously and excellent choice of stay.
A very sweet little hotel. Excellent value for money. Room and facilities very clean. Breakfast was wonderful and dining room overlooked river. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a very relaxed vibe. Would definitely stay again!
Location was good, Bed was comfortable
The shower was very poor and it was very difficult to regulate the temperature.
Staff were nice, warm homely feel to the building, I liked the quirky stairs made it feel a bit like faulty towers
Smell of stale smoke in the room upon arrival, as we were leaving we found a cigarette butt in a fake flower pot on the dresser table. There is no reception so I couldn't find someone after I had checked in, until it was the hour to leave, and the lady to whom we payed as we were leaving never asked how our stay was, or any such questions, so I didn't waste my energy. Walls are quite thin as it is an old building so you can hear conversations inside you room
I love the view from my room. The stream of water flowing endlessly. The staff were friendly. The room was clean. I will definitely stay next time.
the room was spacious and very clean.the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent.
