Very good breakfasts. Sue was a great host made us very welcome
Breakfast is great and the people are very nice
too far from the town ...
I can only thank Sue for her kindness and wish her and her family all the best. This is a wonderful place to stay.
Sue the host is very welcoming and interested in all her guests. I made a request foe a downstairs room and it was honoured. The breakfast was the best we had in our trip around Ireland. I never thought I would eat fish for breakfast but the fresh fish I had was equal to what I ate the previous night in an up market restaurant. Sue made our stay memorable in this most beautiful part of the world. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.
The breakfast menus with freshly caught fish. The very homely atmosphere, it didn't feel like we were strangers
Nothing at all!!!!!
Great location, comfortable, clean, modern but charming homey ambiance, wonderful hosts, ample, delicious breakfast. Could easily have stayed longer.
Very nice host, excellent cooked breakfast (try the fish & spinach!). The property is outside Clifden, at a quiet side road. Our dog was welcome in the room ( they have one pet friendly room at ground floor). Location is ideal to explore the area.
My planning mistake, but was hoping to have Clifden in walking distance, but you need a car to get there. Dog friendly room is at ground floor, was a bit dark. Not a big deal. Windowless bath room was clean, but smelled a bit musty.
warm friendly welcome, made us feel like guests . Nice relaxed atmosphere . Excellent breakfast.
a little hard to find, could be better signposted.
Breakfast was yummy. Lovely smoked fish.
We liked Sue's breakfast which was personal, with care, just what was needed with a great Sharamore special and super salmon. Everything we asked for was taken care of: room with maximum light, separate bedcovers (which were great real duvets, better than in the hotel wi visited later). Beds are very good. When we would go for the Omey walk she told us immediately the tides to take into account. It is a very quiet house even when fully booked.
Host was very friendly and accommodating. Can organise fishing trips on hosts husbands boat. Breakfast was brilliant.
Lots of fishing photos on walls and lots of books and nick nacks around made the place feel quite cluttered. Slightly overpriced for the area.
Everything. Fantastic place, well run, great room, very comfortable bed and quality bedding, excellent breakfast. 10/10
Sue was an excellent host and even waited up for me to arrive extremely late on the evening I arrived to make sure I wasn't lost!

Great location to Connemara park and great hospitality and breakfast. Would stay there again anytime
Homemade pancakes for breakfast just excellents. Very nice and friendly welcoming from Sue. Nice place and real bayview from the bedroom.
Friendliness of owners, helpful
breakfast was good
no indication from the mainroad as to how to get to the BB place
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Simply one of the best B&B's we had on our Ireland tour. We really felt at home. And the breakfast, mmmm !
We cannot invent one.
The location with this wonderful view
That you need a car to drive into the town
Excellent hosts...they were always available and assisted. Went way beyond. Know the area, and provided great guidance. The room was clean and they had many breakfast options...the pancakes with maple syrup were my favorite. Enough parking for all guests. Great shower. If I am in the area again, I would stay at the same B&B.
Wifi worked well when there were a few guests, but at night when they had a full house, the wifi was only fair. It worked, but was slow.
Sue and John are great hosts and had plenty of ideas for things to do and see.
I can't think of anything.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Sharamore House. It's a great location from which to photograph the Connemara. Our room had a wonderful view of the bay and Sue's breakfasts were fabulous. Her menu was great and offered a good variety. Sue's experience with other photographers who had stayed with her meant she had the knowledge of and took the time to talk with us and made recommendations for great places to shoot. We were very happy with Sharamore House and would highly recommend it.
The warm hospitality from Sue and her family and the wonderful choice of fresh fish for breakfast.
The midges, but they were only on the outside.
Lovely place. Short drive to Clifden. Best breakfast ever.
