The location was lovely as it was convenient and right by the liffey. The bar and restaurant was also excellent
The pub on the ground floor was really fun and had a good breakfast. Easy to check in and out.
Our bathroom had what looked like mildew/mold on the ceiling. The live music from downstairs was very loud in the rooms. The wifi does not work in the second floor rooms. I have stayed in hostels with nicer accommodations.
the price very good staff lovely room comfy and very warm very clean
no dislikes o sheas the place to be
The staff especially Mary, very helpful, checked car parking, umbrella supplied on a very wet night. cost great value for money. Excellent breakfast
second time here cost for central Dublin reasonable. location good ,hotel breakfast excellent .most places within walking distance
The staff is the frendliest I have ever met. Great position, good breakfast, super comfy beds.
The only issue we had was with the AC, too worm in our room, but the staff was so kind they moved us to a bigger room with no AC issues.
Centrality of O'Shea's.
Noise from air conditioning outside bedroom window.
Staff, entertainment & breakfast excellent.
Can be noisy.
The staff and good food. Room was clean and comfortable.quiet.
It's a tad dated an mould in bathroom. Only 2 channels on tv
The closeness to the mane travail links and not to far to walk if you like that.
Breakfast was very nice eventhough we thought it was included in the price it was afine breakfast good choice and reasonable We also had dinner when we arrived and it was nice
It needs a lift as stairs are steep and difficult when carrying a bag Wifi does not work upstairs
Place is lovely and the staff are brilliant
If you are looking for high tech, designer chi chi foo foo, this is not the place for you! Great staff, great food (all day), great pub, great location, great creaky floors, awesome live music! Did I mention it was great? Thanks O'Shea's.
Staff were excellent. Located on the River Liffey a short distance from temple bar. Value for money. Very old style traditional pub with live music. Helpful and friendly on departure with routing to bus to the airport. Accomodation basic but clean. Easy walk to most tourist attractions.
Wife thought the music downstairs was a bit loud when she was trying to get to sleep ( nothing overtly loud ) I didn't think it was too bad though, if anything it helped lol.
very warm room and even warmer staff would certainly return and recommend to all
Staff was excellent and very helpful and accommodating. Located not too far from the Spire and Temple Bar area.
I don't remember WiFi working all that well, but it was okay, I didn't need to be on the laptop or phone anyway in a new place.
No internet connection in the room. The shower was broken, so I couldn't use hot water. Also TV was broken, it suddenly powered off. Bathtub was so dirty. There was small bugs. There is a bar under rooms and there was a concert in the bar until 1am. It was too noisy. I couldn't sleep. A room key was so big and I couldn't bring it when I go out. However, no one was there in the reception and I had to find staffs in the bar. Also housekeepers were so rude and noisy before 11:00 am. I wanted to stay there until noon, but I had to check out early.
The staff were friendly. Great breakfast and a nice friendly bar. In a good location for nightlife
The room key has to be left in reception every time you go out. In the evenings this meant a long wait to get the key as the staff manning reception were also working in the other bar. The bar and restaurant were very nice but the room was unacceptable, and definitely didn't reflect the price. The sheets felt clammy, there was a hole in the ceiling, the soap dispenser and mirror in the bathroom over the small sink meant it was impossible to actually use the sink to wash!! The noise made in the mornings by cleaning staff was ridiculous, not exactly a relaxing stay. We went as a group and our friends stayed at the ashling hotel. Their room was far better than ours in every way and they paid a lot less for it
Good location with a good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Food and drink reasonable price.
Dingy outdated room. Very poor tv in bedroom that was of poor quality. Heating only came on at certain times even when it was cold. Ceiling in dining room leaking in water for both days of our stay. Need to spend money on property. Not cheap to stay here for what you get. Music / entertainment not as good as it use to be.
No wi fi in room
Very friendly helpful staff! Everyone really makes you feel welcome.
Wifi not available in the rooms. A bit noisy at the weekend but excellent location and value for money.
Convenient location for both Heuston Rail Station and Temple Bar. Good breakfast.
walking distance to all the sights, temple bar area and main street (with all the shopping area)
loud music at night was heard as if i was present at the bar at 1am.. quite cold inside the room.
A great traditional Dublin pub with live music, good local food and, of course, Guinness. If you like all of the above then this is the place to stay. Conveniently situated for the thriving west end of town alongside the river where there were many other establishments to sample the gastronomic, musical and liquid delights of this fine city. The staff were great and a big thanks for arranging an evening meal when I arrived very late just as the kitchen was closing.
Nothing to dislike ... it pretty much is what it says it is ... so it may not be to everyone's tastes
superb room - they moved me without me asking to a quitter warmer room .. Bar area was lovely - food and friendliness of service excellent
