I liked the staff, good atencion.

It is a little expensive because the location is not very good. You have to walk a lot and there are too much stairs

I didn't like that we had to pay 3 euros for a breakfast that was more simple than most complimentary breakfasts I've had.

Loved the location, very close to city center. Very friendly staff!!! Especially the older fella (Not sure where in Ireland he was from) on the desk who offered loads of advice during stay on things to do,places to see and how to get to them - Legend & very welcoming!!

Website offered lockers in the rooms however on arrival I realised they were all broken... Maybe they should have them fixed or amend facility details online hostel has to offer. It was a little un nerving having belongings in a 14 bed dorm room with no where to lock gear away.

Good to spend few days with friends for a cheap price. Location in the city center.

We booked a double bed (the picture of the bedroom showed on the website includes a double bed) and we had 2 simple beds without any e-mail or anything else informing us about the lack of double bed, even at the reception! What's more, we had to pay before discovering the trick! I was really disappointed and I wouldn't pay this price for twin beds in a noisy hostel.

Very nice people. Good location. Paddy was very cool and helpful.

My shower never got hot. As with all hostels, it was fairly loud. Not horrible though. Rooms weren't terribly clean & could have used a thorough cleaning. No wifi except for 1st floor, but I believe they said as much before I booked it. Sometimes you get lucky though.

The matress was confortable

They tried to give us a different room with twin bed instead of a double. Not hot water in the shower. Extremly noisy.

Friendliness of staff, very clean bedding

The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. Everything was clean or organised. Very close to town.

The doors to the bathroom are really noisy, they creak and wake everyone up if someone needs to use the bathroom at night.

The team is lovely. This hostel is in the city center, we just need 7 minutes to be in the bus station parnell, it is perfectly located.

To mixe girls and boys in the same room even if is written women room or something similar, I d reallly dislike it.

Everyone I interacted with on staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The accommodations are what you would expect from a hostel but I had no complaints about cleanliness. The price and location are great.

the hill...the horrid hill..take a taxi to get your luggage there and you'll be able to walk down when you leave..7 euros from train stn to sheila's is a lot for a less than 10 min walk

It is a good place

Helpful and mostly very friendly staff. Room basic but perfectly functional. Only a short walk from city centre. Breakfast - toast, juice, cereal was OK. Internet service good value.

Rooms could have been bigger.

Middle aged gentleman at reception was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a tip for a spectacular cycling route. Very close to city center and a great base for exploring downtown Cork. Good facilities (24h snack shop, free wireless network, common areas, showers and sauna, and a small bicycle storage room).

The wireless network didn't reach our room. Be prepared for a steep uphill climb to the hostel.

Cheap,what more could you want!
