Everything was excellent. The staff couldn't have done enough for us. The room was absolutely beautiful. I can't fault it in any way.. I will definitely be staying there again.. I can't fault anything...

Lovely room, comfy bed. Nice staff and all very clean. Bar food wasn't good value. Restaurant food - presentation lovely but puréed potato & veg, we're not babies and wld prefer veg cooked I.E. steamed, boiled, roasted.

We liked the fact that the hotel was family friendly. It was lovely to see so many children and families around. The children did not seem in the way. I felt safe letting my children out of my sight. Therefore I could relax more. Also, I Liked the pool, walks and wildlife park to keep children busy, I cannot think of anything.

-Outside look -The bathroom - Very clean - Helpful Staff - Spa area too small,only a steam room and sauna really you get in the price, hyrdopool is way over prices at 25euros. - rooms are to a good/ nice standard but not amazing like some other 5 star hotel i have been too,

Hotel design and comfort. Kids have very limited access to the swimming pool. No food available in the bar after 7:00 pm. No food available in the club house after 7:30 pm.

Nice hotel, not too sure I would give it the full 5star rating, but it is a nice hotel.The bedrooms themselves were typical hotel room, but the bathrooms of the bedrooms were top notch. Loved the bath in the room. Very large hotel, lacks the cosy-ness of a smaller hotel. Noisy at night time due to the floor boards in the corridor being very creaky.

even though bar was full, they alowed us eat from the bar menu in the restaurant, we thought this was very fair. We stayed in better 5 stars, like the ritz Carlton in Wicklow

I love the fact that the hotel is on an island, beautiful, cozy, great facilities, good spa and good food. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too. Its a very relaxing stay. Large space for parking. There is nothing I didn't like about Fota. But if you go to Cork for shopping / citybreak, this hotel is not perfect for you. Because it's located a bit far from city centre. Like 25euro far by taxi.

Recently stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend, the hotel interior was much nicer than the exterior. When we arrived to our room there was clearly some building work giving in in a room close by (drilling , hammering) and was very annoying so we left our room and went to the bar. I informed the receptionist and she said she eoukd check it out. I told her she could find me in the bar to inform me if it was going to continue. She didn't bother which was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Other wise stay was nice but wouldn't rate it 5 star I have stayed in nicer 4 stars!

Nice rooms and friendly personel I expected a lot more from what is called Spa than just a pool and hamam. Really was not worth the name "spa" And altough on Booking.com they say there is Wifi in the entire hotel that is not true. There is in the public zones and you can connect via the cable in the rooms.
