We really got lucky with this one. Wonderful staff, beautiful and comfortable place. Great breakfast, Agnes is a wonderful cook, we miss it dearly. Highly recommend. It's in a great location just outside everything to visit and see.
A perfect location for the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula.
The Wi-Fi is weak but a new system has been promised for the area.
Immaculately decorated, clean and welcoming! Coffee/tea/latte as well as cookies/muffins provided. Also, the common sitting area was warm, inviting and comfortable. Location is conveniently placed for easy access to both the Ring of Kerry as well as Dingle Peninsula and only a 15 minute drive from Killarney and about an hour from Galway. Also, the town center (less than 5 minutes drive away) is very close and provided choices for food at late night times.
Small shower stall that could use a more adjustable shower head or possibly a removable/hand held wand head. A light over the desk mirror would be helpful, but these insufficiencies were so minimal considering all the pluses!
noel was very nice, breakfast was excellent, the room very pretty+clean.
Friendly people, willing to help with anything. Very clean and nice place. Breakfast is good and have many choices. The rooms are VERY accessorized. In the halls there are stands with coffee, tea and cookies which is a good idea.
beautiful garden and nice large room ... just 20 min drive to Killarney
Large clean well laid out room with spacious relaxing suite.
Could only stay a few days had to leave. Would have stayed longer if I could have.
seize of the room comfortable bed clean high quality furniture in the room warm welcome
we would like to have a bright light above the desk
This was by far the nicest B&B we have stayed in; the room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with toiletries provided in the bathroom. Noel and Agnes were beyond accommodating in everything - from their warm welcome with coffee and cake on arrival, to the chat and activity suggestions made in the mornings and even calling a neighbour for jump leads when our car wouldn't start on check-out! The breakfast menu was fantastic and very tasty. All in all, this was a delightful stay. We couldn't recommend Shortcliff House enough - it really exceeds expectations.
The wifi signal was a little touch and go but this was by no means a big issue.
Shortcliff is a close jumping off point for both the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. There are a few places to eat within walking distance or short car ride with free parking. Noel and Agnes were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great and it was nice to have tea/coffee and biscuits as well as glassware at our disposal.
Friendly owners who had tea and homemade bread for us on arrival, very clean comfortable rooms and the best breakfast I had on my trip in Co.Kerry. Attention to detail - different types of bread with the breakfast, fresh fruit salad, very clean teapots and nice cutlery and china.
Very satisfied thank you!
As usual with a famliy run B&B, the Shortcliff has its own unique feel of comfort. Agnes & Noel are doing everything in their power to make you feel welcome, comfortable and wanted. It's a perfect place to start the Ring of Kerry cycle from ;)
Fantastic Bed and Breakfast! Comfortable, clean and quiet. The full Irish breakfast was amazing.
they were extremely accomodating, understanding all of our needs and extremely helpful!
Agnes and Noel gave us a warm welcome and catered immediately to every of our needs. We enjoyed our stay so much that we prolonged it twice. Good spot to investigate Dingle-Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Very good breakfast.
wonderful place to stay and the host were great, I would definitely stay there again.
The couple that ran the house were lovely, they helped us with a few extra things we needed, let us store food in their fridge. They gave us lots of good pointers on things to see and restaurants to try. The room was very spacious. Everything was very clean and well laid out. Definitely recommend this place.
The only drawback would be that the Wifi wasn't the best at times. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice as well.
This place is a real gem. It is ideally situated for the Dingle Peninsular and for the Ring of Kerry and also only a short drive from both Tralee and Killarney. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Agnes and Noel are most welcomlng and hospitable hosts and very helpful with local knowledge. The complimentary tea or coffee and home baking provided on arrival is a nice touch
The guesthouse is a good starting point for trips to the Dingle peninsula, Ring of Kerry and Killarney. The rooms are beautiful and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
Really spacious room (suite), very comfortable seating area, friendly owners, coffee tea and cake as a welcome
Everything was just perfect, great welcome coffee and cake, great breakfast, great hosts, highly recommend it
