When I landed at the hotel I got a lovely welcome from the receptionist, who was genuinely friendly and pleasant. The room was large, clean & very comfortable. We attended a function that night, and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was also superb. All in all a fabulous stay, and well worth a visit :)

The only thing that I did not like was the disparity in the prices of drinks between the main bar and the function room. A 1/4 bottle of wine was 10 cent dearer in the outside bar, while a long neck bottle of Miller was 20 cent dearer in the function room. Perhaps this is common practice, but I felt that the prices out to have been the same throughout

Was only there for 1 night, but found the hotel to be clean and warm with comfortable bed and excellent choice for breakfast, Staff helpful and friendly

Towels, for God sake can any hotel give more than two towels in this country? No face cloths, it's like they don't exist in Ireland, you have to ask for everything.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere and central to the places we wished to visit; and the price was right!!!

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the food was very good and nicely presented. The bedroom was in a quiet area of the hotel and even though it was not very big and the bed was a double, not a queen or king size like we are used to, it was very comfortable and the ensuite has everything in it we needed.

The staff in particular were really lovely. We stayed to attend a wedding and I can see why our friends booked their wedding there. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the food was excellent and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was friendly.

The is only an observation because there is nothing bad you could say about the hotel but the rooms could have been decorated a little better, it would make this otherwise excellent hotel even better.

I booked our stay and then when I tried to use my membership plus card to receive a discount I was told I had to declare this when booking. This was great advice I thought after the fact and seemed strange to me as you only pay at the end of your stay.

Warm and friendly from the minute you walk through the door. No complaints regarding staff or accommodation. First Class!

Facilities listed on the web a little misleading. We thought that there was a swimming pool on the premises for use by guests. This was infact a council run pool in the outskirts of the town. Made use of the spa which was just the ticket! Only gripe would have to be the price. Alot of money for a little bit of pampering. I think staff need to familiarise themselves with the local sites - not enough information on things to do and what is worth seeing and doing. However, it definitely has not put me off and will hopefully be back later in year!
