Owner very friendly and helpful! Our dog had the misfortune to fall off the quay wall into the cold River Moy. She was parked in front of the blazing fire and was made a hot water bottle to warm up again after her ordeal in the freezing water. I got a cup of tea and a biscuit and a lovely chat to recover from the shock of nearly losing my beloved pet. I very much appreciated Mary's friendliness and would definitely stay there again, should I be in the area. Bed was very comfy and it was very quiet. The place is very conveniently located near the main road, although this does not impinge on the comfort of the house. We never heard any traffic!
Mary, the owner was very friendly and helpful.. She recommended a resteraunt called crockets on the quay and it was fantastic. She made us a very tasty breakfast and had tea and biscuits ready for us when we got there
Mary Mahedy is such a nice lady. She made us feel totally at home. Her little niece Ella (5)was a little character and will make a great hotelier someday if she so choses! We even enjoyed her homemade crab apple jam! The B&B is very convenient to town and also the Sligo road and is also great value for money
This is a B&B and not a hotel standard room. So as long as you don't expect en suite bathroom or tv/coffee making facilities it's perfectly comfortable. It's just like staying in a friends house. So there wasn't really anything we didn't like.
Mary was extremely welcoming and went out of her way to cater for our needs especially regarding my request for gluten and dairy free options for breakfast. Although the house is on the edge of an estate it is only a very short walk to the river and Mary directed us to a brilliant local pub for dinner that was only a 10-15 min walk along the river.
Great spot even though slightly outside town. The walk to the quays was pleasant and the pub great. The walk into town was beautiful - we even walked back after the restaurant! Mary, our host, was wonderful - makes a fantastic pot of tea, and does a mean breakfast! The bed was sooooo comfortable, so slept like a log.
Close enough to town located in a quite area. Staff are excellent and Mary is lovely.
Excellent place to stay.Tasty breakfast. Spotless fresh room.Enjoyed the warm welcome with tea & coffee on arrival. Thanks Mary
Mary is an excellent host, and greeted us warmly even though we'd booked our room online fairly late with no advance notice. The entire house is beautiful and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of traveling.
Mary was excellent
Mary made us feel very at home in her lovely house and looked after us really well during our short two night stay. The location is excellent, close to Ballina and the lovely seaside town Enniscrone. Also close to the Ceide Fields which are the oldest stone monument in the world. Very nice house with really comfortable beds in a lovely quiet location. Will be back before the end of the summer!
This is an excellent place to stay. Its in a very good location. The staff treat their guests very well. They are both friendly, helpful and provide top class food.
Room was clean and fresh, bathroom spotless. Beautiful breakfast. As for Mary, the owner, could not do enough for us, lovely woman, lovely B&B
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
