Situated in heart of city with perfect location. Staff were lovely and hotel very cozy
Because of location abit noisey but hotel had warned us beforehand and supply ear plugs. But overall not too bad noise wise
Great location, great staff, great breakfast! Great value!
We originally made a mistake booking our dates and it looked as if we'd get charged for a no-show, but when I emailed to explain and ask if we could rebook for other dates they let us change with no charge. Then when we arrived and bad weather meant our plan to stay on the Aran Islands for a night fell through, they booked us in at the same web booking rate for an extra night with no fuss. Really excellent staff alone would make me come back to this hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable and great value for the price.
Wifi was a bit on and off, but to be fair I should have really left the laptop at home in the first place!
Location, friendly staff, comfortable room, lovely breakfast.
Nothing to dislike
A very nice welcome from the receptionist. Always a very nice hello and helpful with any queries when passing through reception
We got a brief fright from an early morning fire alarm sounding.
Hotel fine but very disappointed with market which was the reason why we went to galway
Stayed here on a recent trip to galway with my partner we had a lovely view of the eyre square Xmas market, we requested a street view. Staff were all very nice and held our bag for us before and after checking in and out. Room was very clean, nice comfy bed. Breakfast the next morning was tasty a great selection of things. Will defo be staying here again.
The shower was blocked and water leaked onto floor. Other then that great hotel.
Staff in hotel were very friendly when checking in. Hotel was perfect central location.
Room was very small and basic. Over priced for what it is. Breakfast in the bar area the next morning was very disorganised.
The breakfeast, the pub before
Excellent value for money, helpful and friendly staff, would revisit.
friendly helpful staff. Location perfect. Overall a most enjoyable stay. Tried to book for second night but fully booked. Would definitely stay again. Upper floor rooms recommended if light sleeper. No noise problems on Fri night but sat might be livelier. All you require is within easy walking distance.
Some mildew on shower grout R202 and breakfast service a bit slow. This was not really worth mentioning but it is easy to sort. Copy of food menus in rooms would be nice.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and complimented the excellent midday checkout time. The location is fantastic and we found it really easy, were ble to unload the car and park just around the corner. Being, so close to the restaurant and bars and shops was awessome
It was raining and the internal gutters made quite a loud water dripping noise
there was a spot of blood on the pillow the room smelt like cigarettes (must have been coming up from outside Karma nightclub) we were told we could check out at 12.30 but we started getting called at 10 to 12. luckily I had the email saying that checkout was 12.30 as the man behind reception got a bit thick about it. It was nothing like the first stay I had there at the start of the summer
Location, food, atmosphere.
Due to hotel being part of a very popular bar extremely noisy at night. However if you expect it or you are part of the crowd should not be an issue.
The breakfast was fantastic and the Guinness perfect
There was a constant drain smell in the bathroom and no parking. Problems with the door entry key but value for money
Convenient for Aran Islands, Galway Tours, Airport Bus large room with view of eyre square Held my bags before and after breakfast very good with choices
I liked everything! Especially the staff, all genuinely nice, friendly and helpful , it's ideally located and has quiet rooms for those who don't party too late !!!
Clean New Good price Quality place and worker Top wifi
Location, staff, service
The Skeff's location is ideal for me when I plan an overnight in Galway. I especially appreciate the staff who are genuine in their friendliness and always looking for ways to help. I also like that their single rooms are quite large. It is a popular nightspot, but noise has never been an issue.
GREAT LOCATION, VERY NICE STAFF!
DID NOT LIKE HEARING THE DRUNK KIDS PARTYING ON THE STREET UNTIL 3AM
Perfect location for a weekend break, the place was buzzing with activity! Will definitely be back. 10/10!!
Great location, lovely big bed, ideal for a short break. Steps away from shops, bars, restaurants. Would recommend!
Couldn't connect to wifi, breakfast served in bar.
