I love every aspect of sleep zone, the staffs are very friendly, the Wi-Fi is very great, the prices are cheap enough even though it is summer, great breakfast, and finally the location of the hostel is wonderful as it is not far from the city and the bus station b

    Location and staff

Flat equipment (such us washing machine not working, complete lack of dishes and glasses), cleanliness.

    Nice atmosphere and staff

The kitchen is too small for the amount of people cooking. I was there in july, other months it could be better. It gave me a bit of a factory feeling. But overall yhe stay was very pleasant.

    Great location, clean, well organised.

The hostel was full of school tour groups and because of this it was incredibly noisy with doors banging, loud talking and laughing - making it impossible to sleep.

    Location was good.

Booked room with ensuite and wifi and received neither. Room was very musty. No top sheet was on the bed and comforter was sketchy.

Great location, helpful staff, secure rooms, parking only 4E a day.

Rooms small and hot (we were on the 3rd floor), noisy, basic breakfast.

Located in a quieter area, close to food stores that stay open late. It's a quick walk to the centre (Galway is tiny), staff is super friendly and helpful, great place to meet fellow travellers. Breakfast is simple but will do and there's a kitchen so you can cook your own if you want. When you're doing Galway Tour Company tours (also recommended), you get picked up outside the hostel. The hostel is great value for money. I'd surely return here.

The walls are thin, bring some earplugs. The beds could use a privacy board or curtain, especially in the larger dorms. Every bed has a lamp, but it's too bright, it keeps the whole room lit. Only one shower/toilet for eight people... there's one extra in the hall (to share with a couple more rooms). We managed though, because we all got up at such different hours, but I can imagine that being a problem when you all get up at the same time. No lockers in the room, so either lock your suitcase or don't leave valuables behind.

People of all ages stayed there, not simply youth. I am in my 40s - a woman traveling alone. It was nice to have a place where i could talk with folks from around the world, but not feel like I was in a loud, wild drinking club (the way some hostels feel). There were quiet side rooms where people could read or work on their laptops in peace. The kitchen is large, cheery and very clean. There is always free tea, milk, coffee etc. 24/7 and at night people play borard games, read, talk quietly or watch TV in the common room. It feels safe and homey, rather than frantic and noisy (as some hostels are). Good location central to everything. Very nice and helpful staff. Free breakfast and free towel (other hostels make you pay extra for this). The wifi was very good. I loved this place and would definitely stay again. Great value for the price!

Their was some traffic noise outside but that's not to be helped. Also, the bathroom wasn't well ventilated, so the room got very steamy and humid whenever anyone took a shower.

Excellent hostel, well located, staff really helpful. I love you have your own light next to the bed so as not to bother other guests. Vey clean, good breakfast. Highly recommend it.

The staff was very nice. Large and clean kitchen and living spaces.

We booked a twin room with private bathroom. Room became very noisy when elevators started running next to the room from early in the morning. The private bathroom (toilet, sink and shower in same room) was in fact shared with another room on the same floor so it was very inconvenient. We'd rather have stayed in one of the dormitories and have several showers and toilets

The location was good. The staff great. As it being my first hostel of my trip and ever, It didn't freak me out as some of the others I had stayed in if they had been the first.

The showers. You literally had to keep pressing to get water.Like every 5-10 seconds.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was really clean and having the en suite bathroom was a nice convenience for the five of us traveling together. The tour we booked through Sleepzone to the Cliffs of Moher was fantastic! I would highly recommend the full day tour. We enjoyed every minute of the day!

Having bananas or apples at breakfast would be appreciated. The breakfast food gave us a good start to our day and it was great that is was complementary.

    Not much

The noise, didn't sleep at all due to door slamming and general corridor traffic, but also due to staff trying to evict other guests. Shower only worked in 30 second blasts, and the room was not as booked. Reception staff pretty unhelpful.
